People are crazy if they think someone here would rather win Hazy's than USAPL. I think all of us want a USAPL Gold (something only one of the WL teams have) and a trip to WL to kick the shit out of some teams there. I don't think anyone tailors an entire gameplan to any team league or scrim. It's usually checking for basic things like "do they throw a ton of screens", "do they rush their qb a lot" and that's kinda it. There really isn't a ton you can do unless the team has AI mistakes you can take advantage of (doesn't happen really at this level). No excuses, play like a champion.
i dont think there is a "id rather do that than do this" attitude...i think everyone just wants to win everything...at least thats the thinking that i come into gameplanning with...people who say "id rather win USAPL than Hazy's anyways" after they lose in the Hazy's are just sore losers.
This is almost true, but I will say first hand in my experience, most teams will put a lot more time into league games/playoffs than the tourneys. They all still want to win the tourneys, just do not invest as much into them.
