I have one like this already

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1394689

Early on he sacrificed speed for the strenght and tackling.
Just now getting speed and agility up to power.
I have a few replays of him blowing guards up and opening up tackling lanes for safeties and other other LB's
The lack of speed really was evident. But I only use him against strong running teams. He is a beast against the off tackle runs and up the gut runs
The custom MLB slot really has to be used for MLB's like this. having this guy in on a 3rd and long situation really hinders the defense

I am at level 18 now and have tried my own theory which so far has been.

Speed to 48 Whilst training Strength/Tackling
Agility to 48 ". ". ". "
Strength to 48 ". ". Jumping/Vision
Vision to 48. ". ". Jumping/Tackling
Tackling to 48 ". ". Stamina/Confidence

And that's where I'm now at.

I plan to continue training Stamina/Confidence then with sp's going

Strength 68
Agility 68
Vision 68
Tackling 68
Speed 60
Confidence 60
Jumping 48

Then any remaining in Strength. And eq split between Strength and Agility

That's all assuming I have enogugh sp's which I probably won't

definately would not go with strength that important. i have seen capping vision first very effective :/

is taking vision to 48 right off the bat a bad idea?

VISION!

i would put either vision or tackling second, depending on the type of LB you want

my thought is...you want 80-90 agility, but 70-80 vision is probably ok

I'll create a MLB and want him to be effective at higher levels (dont need 30 speed to burn peewee leagues). What do you guys think about this plan based on a continuous training chain?

Train vision/agility
1st cap vision
Train agility/speed
2nd cap agility
Train speed/tackling
2nd cap speed
Train tackling/strength
2nd cap tackling
1st cap strength
Train stamina/confidence
2nd cap vision
3rd cap agility
3rd cap speed
2nd cap strength

If I were to do my LB over I would have stopped str at 48.

I would rather have 48 str and 80 tkl with 15 in david vs golith then 68 str and 68 tkl.

For what it's worth took both these guys to 68 strength first , you be the judge.

thats a sick team.....

IMO Agility and strength are your main shed block attributes, agility being the better of the 2 and agility is your change of direction which puts you in the best position to make a tackle. my goal is 80 strength/80-85 speed/90+agility/70+ vision/65+ tackling.

agility to 68
strength to 68
speed to 68
tackling to 60/68
vision to 60/68
