I've known Pain pretty much since I started on GLB. We used to beat each other up and then decided to swap a few players from the Gamblers and Wolfpack. Friendship commenced. I wish I had his real e-mail address because I am genuinely concerned.

I'll tell you from experience, it's not.

I sure hope everything is ok with him.

I had seen something from someone associated with the team that had a hunch of what might have happened and hoping it didn't... I don't know what his personal life involved but reading between the lines, I hope he wasn't involved in something to risky that might have hurt him somehow.

hopefully Pain's alright. Maybe he finally woke up one morning and realized how silly this game was and said no. Something I hope to one day achieve.

It's like a drug I tell you. I've tried to quit several times. Never made it pass pre-season without boosting. Step 1 should be, "Don't boost" I think if I can do that, I might start coming to reality. But then, the accountant in me will want to use every bit of Flex I've paid for until it's no longer of value. Meaning, GLB doesn't exist or I've recycled Flex so much that I can't afford to boost my lone player in Season 150. Still in Beta of course.

The Wolfpack have a contingency plan in place, should Painmaker be gone 'for good'.

However, we've all agreed in team forum that his inactivity bears no direct/immediate problems for the club - at least until the end of the season. He's always been slack with boosting his players every season anyway....so if he showed up on day 18 and boosted it'd really be no different then any other season

There's no dire need for us to replace him at present. We are all not just hoping he comes back, but hoping and praying that whatever reason he's 'gone' is not due to any type of real life tragedy. He's in our thoughts and prayers and we appreciate those of you who are thinking along the same lines.

Thanks.
