I think it is going to be less close then people think, maybe 24-10 Hitmen.

Disclaimer: I generally stink at predictions.

The hitmen are the most likely winner in this game, but I'm amazed no one else figured out the proper defensive game against them this season. It was obvious to me when I played them, and I watched a few games after and they were still vulnerable to that type of defense.

Hitmen definitely deserve the title though, west is a much tougher conference than east and they survived it with just 1 loss all season.

Im sorry but saying that one team "deserves" a title is dumb. By using that logic the Pats deserved the superbowl but no, they have to play the game. Only then will the team that wins deserve it.

Ok, this might be the dumbest thing Ive read in a while. Neither the Hitmen or the Dogg Pound had any say on which division they were put into by the great GLB Gods. To say one team DESERVES to win because of the conference they were in is insane. Both teams lost one game, each by 3 pts. Both losses were to equally good teams.

Is it possible that one division was a tad tougher than the other? Sure, doesnt mean they deserve anything more than the other.

I look forward to an awesome game where both teams deserve to win equally. Please, everyone get off this whole one conference is better than the other thing, because after all is said and done, the game today will decide it for us all.

Again, good luck Hitmen.

looking at the rosters.. it really looks like orlando has the slight advantage, yet seem to be the underdog on the forums. i wouldnt be suprised if it went either way, and while the hitmen did destroy our team, if i had to put a spread to the game id say orlando by 3 and 1/2. so i guess i gotta go with the east.

im just glad both of you are leaving bbb#2 the right teams made it to the championship.

good luck fellas.

Wow, I didn't want to refresh my page.

I must've second guessed our game plan about a thousand times last night....I guess we got the #s right.

Congratulations on a great season Dogg Pound. I remember early on talking about "what if", well we both made it and I don't think either of us can say it was easy. There were lots of tough battles in the West....getting upset by the Vendetta, facing off against the Sentinels, playing the Humpers twice, and fighting through a red hot Voodoo team.

Admittedly I didn't have a lot of time to keep up with how the East was shaping up, but I knew that the Panthers and Elves were contenders and the Pound was the team to beat. Your depth and your record were intimidating, but in the end I thought we had the defensive edge and could set the tempo. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but it looks like it was a good fight.

Thanks for a great game and a great season, I'm sure several of you are glad to get rid of us so we'll go now, but we look forward to seeing next season's top two teams in the A league.
