there is no key, but Qb is one of the one positions you can just boost a couple attributes extremely high and expect good results.
Throwing should be around 100 with TS around 10 and atleast 1 piece of pass quality AEQ, that is a given. If you are suffering from a lot of PDs because of ball hawk, boost strength. If you have problem with leads and reads, boost vision. Confidence seems to be a quick fix bandaid when you are stuck on a bad team, which my QB has been on plenty yet still performs well. Also Kenshinzen is absolutely right, high bullet will lead to a whole lot of PDs and interceptions when you start facing corners worth a damn.
The key is, in my experience is if you are planning on throwing down the field, you need bullet type zip on the ball to get around ball hawk, yet higher trajectory than bullet offers so that you throw over the defender and not through the defender. Strength is the key there, but that doesn't mean you can sacrifice vision to boost strength. I've tried that route and it doesn't work either. I'm thinking a friendly medium is the best route to go, that's why I'm trying the 100/80/80 approach.
Best advice I can give you, don't listen to all the assholes on here dealing out advice when their QB puts up shitty numbers in close games. Look for advice from people who consistently puts up decent numbers, not outrageous numbers, in most of their games. They usually have the better builds since they aren't on great teams. Jeff Garcia, although an asshole, knows his stuff, but he does suffer from being on one of the best teams in GLB so his build might not fit other teams.
