I couldnt live in or near Amarillo, too many wicked storms! I used to storm chase in that area about 10 years ago. Mt grand parents live in Friona, west of Amerilla and we witnessed a killer tornado, it was crazy! San Antonio is great except its always freaking hot and it never seems to get cold in the winter.

Lefors......lol! My son has a scrimmage there in the morning. I've lived here in WD for the past 7 years, lived in Wheeler for 6 years before that.
Originally from a tiny little town called Crowell, in the Quanah-Vernon area.
Storms up here aren't THAT bad, IMO. I prefer the almost constant breezes (what some folks call wind) here in the panhandle area to the freakin sweltering heat down in DFW and San Antonio. At least when I got hot in the Panhandle area, I could put on my harness and climb the derrick and get a nice breeze to cool off.
Down around Ponder/Justin/Decatur, there was NO air moving at all. I was dripping sweat at 4AM and not even working hard.
