I don't know about that. I think it's perfectly likely that she attempts the spin regardless of the break tackle %. However if the spin fails to lead to a broken tackle, there'd be no way to know a spin was attempted. Therefore, you'd almost never see the attempt - it would never be noticeable, without the EQ bonus. Also, I don't know that spin is the only way an elusive carrier breaks the tackle. Depends what you mean by elusive. Elusive because of the slider bar settings? You may be correct, on 100 (super elusive), it may be that tackles aren't broken at all, ie some type of penalty to the roll. But if you are a 36 strength 99 runner and a 9 strength, 25 tackling safety attempts to tackle, it's possible to break it with no SA firing.

Maybe its a carrying thing....elusive hbs have sa's fire with like 30 carrying though...and I've heard a lot of wr's with capped or higher carrying say their fakes never fire. Dunno the answer.

Also, I think darren's idea on spin is more right

The information about spin needing strength is very wrong. Look at pretty much any game my HB has played as proof.

Few plays from the scrimmage that just ended:

For just a few examples.

Spin is hands down the most underrated SA for an elusive back.

I believe you, what is your spd/agi? I am working towards a 90/90 back.

Thanks for that Chetro, interesting information. I think I'm happy I have two pieces of Spin AEQ now!

i usually have it on super elusive, but in the preseason this year i've been noticing a lot of running out of bounds and a lot of stuttering. didn't used to happen this much, so i am trying it out at 60 right now.
