So if he is banned (which he is) will Bort make sure that those players dont have similar items, so they dont stay active with super items of equipment?

He already checked them. From what I gathered, the agent had other players that took advantage of the CEQ exploit, but he sold those equips back when the problem was first discovered. For whatever reason, he kept the one belonging to the CB (and assuming the accounts are the same, the DE as well). Selling back CEQ shows up in your flex history, so larger than normal returns would be easily noticeable.
