I'm excited whether my team makes the cut or not (I'm guessing not). But I do think there will be guys who give 110% and still finish 3-13. I think this will be the most competitive league in all of GLB just do to the fact that every team starts and basically ends with the same level of talent as everyone else. Just look at the scrim history this season. Everyone beat each other up. fairly consistently. I, along with whoever else would like to be included, will probably write up a pre-season ranking as well of the 32 teams that make the top cut -- it'll mostly be based off of past-history, gm experience, etc.
Forum > Pee Wee Leagues > Funny thing about the new promotion
I think there will be a few pro teams who can't adjust to the workload and pack it in half way through.
But they will drop down to a more comfortable level and be replaced by teams with enough staff to handle all the scouting.
The beauty of the pro league will be that there will be no disadvantage to the promoted teams like you see in the big boy leagues. Good builds and tactics can send a first year team right to the top.

I think folks are underestimating the feeder leagues somewhat too. At the very least, they'll all be filled with player run teams that have mostly human rosters. The CPU teams will all be down in the basic leagues.
Those feeder leagues are gonna get nasty as teams shoot for the trophy to get into pro.

I think you're very right. The big difference with pro is the workload. Most of the elite pee wee owners have a regular team too. That's a lot of prep work to put into a season.

You'd have to be an idiot to have an elite peewee team, plus another regular team (or even one of each ...casual, regular, peewee) ....I mean it would be a freakin nightmare, can you imagine the recruiting efforts at the end of the season, and the game planning demands!!!
I mean that guy would have to go without sleep!!!

+1 Thunder66.
I was OC'ing 2 PeeWee teams, a Casual team, and a Minor's team last season....with all the scouting, tweaks to AI and basic tactics, it was quite a workload. I pretty much retired all of my high level players and due to some work committments I am unable to do any coordinating so I am looking forward to a season off so to speak.

ah that would be nice....
I think after S11 I'm going to cut down (bring in some staff to handle my other teams, and just concentrate on my peewee team).

Last year I was:
Owner of a casual team
Owner of a pee wee team/ OC
Owner of a AAA team/ OC
OC of a AAA team
Offensive Consultant to three other teams meaning I tweaked, but didn't game plan.
Had 70 players scattered across 19 teams
Something had to give. I'm still spread too thin.

I don't know how you do it Thunder... I OC the Krazy Monkeys in the World League, OC TNT in SA Pro, and run my own pee-wee team and I want to shoot myself at least three times a day. I'm glad I recruit for pee-wee mid-season and during the off-season can just "help" with recruiting for the others.
