Sure hands does not help AT ALL in catching passes that are PDed or knocked loose.

Once you are a high level receiver with 2-capped or 3-capped catching, you are flat out dropping AT MOST 1-2 catches per season. Even if sure hands saves both those drops, it is not worth 15 VP's in the slightest.

I suppose it might have some minor utility for slow build players before they can cap catching, but once catching is at the softcap this VA is a complete waste of space.

Then, what would you recommend?

From Bort:
"Updates are:
New VA: "Nerves of Steel" - gives a second chance to reroll "knocked loose" passes
Updated VA's: Possession Receiver (gives boost to knocked loose pct), Overtime Killer (extends into last 2 minutes of close games), Tenacious (better bonus vs wrap up, smaller bonus vs balanced)."

what do you guys think about nerves of steel?

Imo you raise sure hands and possession receiver early on then reset and change once your build is rounded out.

Think it's crappy.

For a WR who has catching around 63, do you still recommend sure hands? I was thinking about going ball hawk, but have heard very mixed results regarding it. Otherwise I was gonna go mr. reliable and poss. receiver

Honestly, 2 seasons ago I had catching at 60 and I dropped 11 passes. The following season I added around 5-8 VP's into Sure Hands and I only dropped 2 passes. I do believe in Sure Hands and have it at 15 now for this coming season.

Outside Blocker + Downfield Blocker + Great Blocker

Great point, never have I seen so many WR's used so little this past season.
Why it's the HB sweep, and then the HB swing out pass play, and then the
pass up the middle to the TE, and finally the delayed pass to the FB.

WR's should start training blocking!

s9 was when KL meaning dropped passes began on stat sheets. I donno if the league change from s9 to s10 is what mattered, or if you pumped strength or carrying, but I can assure you that the 9-11 KL drops were not lessened due to sure hands (which is why there is a new sure handish VA which does lesson them).

Soft hands, possession receiver, mr reliable sit safely on my top 3 my friend.

Regardless, even ballhawk should be up there before sure hands, no doubt.

I don't understand how anyone finds Ball Hawk to be even remotely useful for a WR.

Bort has said that it only really works on poorly thrown balls and people have used the speed script to try and isolate it triggering and have yet to find any evidence that it does.

just some stuff off the top of my head

Yac attk and slippery does not stack as advised by one of borts moderators, so it is a waste to have both. Question is which is better?
