Chem matters but it is overrated. Blaze started with same damn chem as OTR last season, OTR's AI's just got a lot better later, it had near nothing to do with chemistry. It's quite obvious really, just watch some film.

Yeah once Tooley got off his rear and got back to OCing, OTR became a top tier USAPL team again.

I was being diplomatic with the chemistry comment, I could have just said I need to see the on-field product before assuming that a team that has lost 20 of its last 24 games adding a bunch of guys that will sign with a team that has lost 20 of its last 24 games is going to be markedly better (even with the the chemistry penalty) as a result. I'd be happy to be wrong, though, the Hedgehogs are a Kampfire favorite, and WiSe|V|aN played an integral role in getting us into USA Pro as our OC for the season we promoted.

Pmuch. Although all the other OC had to do was feed Cooter the ball on pitches all game, esp. with teams under prepared for it. I left it open in the playoff game after completely shutting it down in the reg. season (O_o) and OFG left it open in the 2nd round as well.

Well, there's some logic to thinking that if it got stuffed in the regular season they'd go away from it in the next/playoff game.
Still, if you do one thing way better then anything else, maybe you stick with your plan and hope the other team doesn't stop it again.
My minor league team got beat in the CCG that way. On offense we ran a good bit of QB outside runs literally all season. It was a 31 cap league so it wasn't exactly the best gameplanners, save for maybe 2 teams. Even in our semi-final game, the offense struggled but still ran our QB outsides and won the game.
So, in the CCG, I thought, well, they can't possibly think after an entire season of (successfully or not - as teams began defending it, but we ran it anyway) running outside that all of a sudden we'd stop doing it. But hell if they didn't call our bluff and we lost.

At all levels of the game I've noticed that its very easy to overestimate the amount opponents actually scout/adjust and as such its very easy to over think yourself into losses imo...

Lol, easiest job I ever did. I was just like "Hey dravz, sling the rock a shitload, ok?" and dravz was all "yup, done, wtf is losing"...
And I understand wanting to wait to see some on field production track, which is why I didn't disagree with your initial ranking. Of course with that said, the above paragraph underestimates the recruiting powers of the best recruiter in USA Pro.
