Sorry, nope.

Cincy is a great team this season, but the WELP championship got more attention from me.

I didn't realize what our strength of schedule was like until this was posted in the Rankings forum...

Cinci still has a MASSIVE lead, even with the loss to Bonn. They have a staggering 16-1 record against the top 25, which doubles the win count MEM and Marblehead have against that group. Cinci's SOS is only going to go up with their game vs MEM remaining, as MEM still has a firm grasp on #2 and I don't expect the final day of games will change either of those places.
Bonn moved up to 4th with the most recent defense of the PTT, and will still be holding that cup come next season.
Highest rank team not to make what we thought would be the WPL (and still might be) - OFG, at 8th. 8 losses, including 2 out of the top 50, but they still have the results to make the top ten as one of only 4 teams with 10+ wins against the matrix top 50.
Benitos have the highest SAPL rank, WWR has climbed back up to 12th for the highest APL rank. EFGH comes in at 15th for the EEPL, Three Kingdom is the top SEAPL ranking at 27th this time, with Manila right on their heels at 28th. OPL's Kingston appears at 33rd.

The top 25:

Minor edit: Shockers broke my automated formatting by having 10 wins against the top 25.

They have a very strong scrim schedule but thier regular and post season schedule strength hurts them. Same case as S7 WSI and S6 Benitos, their league schedule just isnt as tough as what Cincy had to go through I think

They still get my vote. Cincy did not throw the game, they got beat. This is not the BCS where #1 and #3 play; #1 loses and remains #1.

I think you have to look at the whole body of work, the entire season. And Bonn's schedule was not even close to Cincys.

IMO, the Shockers are the best team to ever play this game, let alone in this ssn. What they did, against the teams they did it, can't be touched. Absolutely no disrespect to Bonn, they're a hell of a team, but no way you're going to beat a team built like Bonn unless you GP hard for them. I'm confident that the Shockers were focusing all their energies on MEM. Even if you discount that, The Shockers played a significantly harder sched and only lost 1 game. Bonn lost 2 with a significant easier sched (awesome team, no disrespect intended).

This Shockers team is easily the best team to ever play dot ball, IMO...That also says a shit ton about MEM.
