Thanks for changing my quote asshole. If you are gonna quote, quote it. Otherwise don't just make shit up.
If taking the top four teams out of USA causes slippage compared to other leagues who will also be losing their top four teams, then perhaps "dominance" doesn't mean what you think it means.
Well USA will be far and away the best Pro League, there will be absolutely no doubt about it...it will also be the hardest to advance to the World League out of.
OPL, SEAPL, EEPL, WEPL, SAPL, etc....who is left to really battle? No one because their decent teams are gone. Two of those leftover teams will be in the World League next season.
What is left in USAPL? MM, WW, ***O***, KKAR, Navs, the Vikings (before they decided not to resign everyone), the Hounds, Blaze, Gurupies, Slashers, Golfers and probably a few teams that didn't make the playoffs. Only two of these teams will be in the World League next season.
Good luck on getting scrimmages out of World League teams to prove USAPL dominance. I certainly wouldn't scrimmage in that league. Without scrimmages, good luck getting recognized as a top 25. With a tougher path to the World League and reduced name recognition, good luck getting the top talent.
Heck, and Bort hasn't even said how he's gonna do demotion. There are folks out there that want it to stay 4 teams per league by demoting the worst team from each region and only promote the Pro League champions every season. Ya, that will work.
