- Won Canada AAA2 in season 8.
- Made it to CPL playoffs in season 9.
- Back in again in season 10, lost in second round.
- FUN Team with great agents.
- GM's work like heck on game planning and preparing for every game.
- All your expenses will be taken care of - money is not an issue.
This is an excellent team, fantastic group of agents, GMs, sbuck, the owner is one of the best. I know, it sounds cliche, but really, he is fantastic - extremely involved, knows the game very well but is always open to new ideas and approaches. On top of that there are many knowledgeable, experienced agents on the team, many you will recognize, who all share their knowledge and help each other make the most of their players. This really is a terrific team environment.
In a nutshell, This team WINS, is FUN to be on, has plenty of cash, and is very well run! What more do you want out of GLB?
Please let me know if you are interested or would like more info.
Thanks! And now let me complete the Manitoba Matadors consecutive post assault in your thread.

Here's the basic facts:
We finished in the top 8 of all CPL, due to our playoff run, and will make the WPL tourney if that stays that way, or will be hands down favorites in S11 to win CPL and advance to the WPL then. The team leadership is strong, we have an active farm system already in place, so the risk of gutting or folding is ZERO. I have no intentions of doing anything with the team except creating a dynasty to last for as long as GLB's servers are still plugged in.
Our defense is strong and creative enough to provide the blueprints to rest of GLB on how to handle the Dooley's, but is often at the mercy of our inconsistent offense, whose major weakness is the offensive line. There's only so much a defense can do before short field position and inconsistent performance on O gets the better of them. Still despite this, we finished strong this season defeating the 3 seed in CPL before succumbing to eventual CPL champs (imo) Marblehead Longhorns in round 2.
We are indeed in the middle of a major OL overhaul, of which landing your center would be the highlight of our off-season. We have made some substantial improvements on the offensive side of the ball already, landing several highly coveted USAPL recruits (Josh Streeter formerly of the Ground Pounders for one). Now we just need that bad-ass in the middle to make sure our QB is still standing and able to launch the ball his way! That's where you come in.
To be honest, reading what my coordinators have said about me is a little bit embarassing. As the owner of the Matadors, all I can really say is that I try to run my team the way I would expect to be treated as a player. No games, gimmicks or power trips.
My recruiting philosophy in GLB is pretty simple.
We look for mature, stable, dependable agents, who are interested in the journey that GLB provides as much as the final destination. Of course we are focused on winning but more than that we enjoy the chemistry, friendship and bonds that are forged in that process just as much. Most of my GM's and agents came to the Matadors in totally random ways but are now here *"for life"* since they enjoy the environment, chemistry and camaraderie so much.
So i thank you in advance for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing back from you. If you have any questions, please let me know!
Scott
PS Perhaps the best part of joining the Matadors would be the fact you'd never be facing this guy:
