Mainly because will be presented as Best In GLB when that won't necessarily be the case. Should have been some form of Pro League winners enter a competition for Top Prize/Best in GLB.
Also think it will create a huge amount of changes in the leagues every season so more difficult for competition and rivalries to develop.

Fwiw, I planned to bring all my results together from the 8 regions and post them on the main forums. It appears however that bort has made a bigger and more efficient actual poll, making mine obsolute.
