Having played both teams, Atlanta Apocolypse is definately better than FCA.
Nebraska Soul Assassins are better also, you'll see in the PW#1 Championship.

Needs a little more Unnecessary Roughness too, IMO. Very good list though. Nice job.

Nebraska is a great team (I'm a scout/gm there ) but unfortunately other then the tournament where we had a couple nice wins we haven't done much outside of our conference (which isn't very strong). I'm praying for a FCA/Nebraska showdown, it'll be one of the more exciting league championships.

Belfast isn't on here because they have 0 wins against anyone else on the list and no real impressive teams in their conference. Hamilton is the 2nd best team in their league and they're 0-2 against teams in this list as well. If you want to be on it, go scrim someone on the list and win, being 1st and 2nd in your league isn't enough 95% of the time.

Pee Wee Hermans have a shot to make the next update if they can beat the Pugs again after their win over the Crib Midgets this morning. Before then you hadn't done enough to merit a ranking either with just league wins and 0 top 25 wins.

It's not rocket science fellas... being first in your conference isn't enough. There's 50 teams in 1st in their conference right now, half of them are undefeated. If I ever make a "top 1st place teams ranking list" I'm sure you'll all be on it, but this is a top overall pee-wee rankings. If you want to get on it, go schedule some tough scrimmage opponents, enter tournaments, and win in them. It's tough to include everyone with 800 pee-wee teams in existence. Obviously you can't help if your league/conference isn't strong but you can help who you play outside of it.

The only thing I dont like about the rankings system is there is no room for expierimenting. Take the Double Decker Pee Wee Wreckers for example. I asked Bernie if I could try out some new defensive schemes for that game, lots of wild looking DF packages. That game bumped his teams "rankings" down a little. DDPWW played South park in a close game in tourney play and lost, also got hosed by a level 24 minor team that was accepted by mistake but then pounded the owner of Peru who owned that minor league team. Now had they played another 10 scrimmage games and won them, these games would come back to hurt their rankings in the top 25.

1. Rankings Updated

2. To LE: Well yeah, losing generally does that. The Level 24 minor league game wouldn't (that'd be irrelevant). I think the best comparison for the rankings are the NCAA basketball rankings (just because of the sheer volume of games and how the #1 spot can bounce around). I understand slow building and all of that, or experimenting, and there's nothing wrong with that. But it can't be taken into consideration for the rankings. Obviously a team like Dharma could have sprinted onto the radar with their insane league schedule to end the season. But a team like FreeClubAmerica probably won't make it because of their bad league schedule and winning via tiebreaker to even get into the playoffs even though they're playing really well right now. You still need everyone above you to play really bad

Obviously even a team like yours took a bit of a hit as you tried some different stuff out as well. The difference is you still had an amazing season and still have up to 4 tough games left against the #1 seed, the #2 seed, your Conference Championship, and potentially the League Championship. A team like DDPW who I believe is a very solid team just hasn't got that marquee win to make up for "taking a game off/experimenting". They're 0-2 against the top 25, beat Peru who is about as half as good as they were last year and not a noteworthy win (they lost to the 4th seed in League 22... 22 > 5! Kidding. ). So I try to take all this into consideration.

This no more then 1 scrim in 1 day rule stinks. Day 38 is full and I already have Day 39 and 40 scrims.

IMHO, teams generally don't gameplan or really try in scrims like they do in regular season and playoffs. So while I agree TT has a solid team, he can go 50-0 in scrimmages and as long as Dharma keeps bowing out early in the playoffs they don't rate as strong as a team that wins the games when they actually mean something and the pressure is on.

EDIT: and I am not picking on Dharma. We plan in the same league and know that team is solid, but I see a lot of stock being put into scrims and am not sure it's entirely valid. Teams like Short Bus who play a shit load of scrims and basically dominate them all are the exception. PeeWee Herman's deserves to get love because they went undefeated in their season, and are doing well in their playoffs, not because they beat the Midgets in a meaningless scrim.

I have to respectfully disagree for the purposes of this list. The scrims the teams on that list have played were largely either tourney scrims, or scrims purposefully scheduled against other very good teams for the purpose of finding out who is better, which is exactly what this list is designed for. In either case, they knew they needed to be game-planing.

Strengths of leagues vary greatly, so I would say your league and playoff record counts for less than scrims versus listed teams do. If you don't care enough to game plan for a game versus another top-25 team, then you really shouldn't be ranked. If you're gunna accept a scrimmage, play to win.

I don't like the fact that teams are scrimmaging during the playoffs myself. I have a harder task of trying to beat Houston/Dayton/Insane Assylum and Andromedia, to even bother with a scrimmage that will give some team fame that they beat us. I can guarentee you I spent more time on the 3 teams I am NOT even playing than focussing on KC, Dharma, Bengalfish, oh but I did scout the hell out of DoRD because there is more meaning in that game. I spent about an hour on Insane Assylum, Andromedia, and Dayton and about 3 hours or more on Houston compared to 5 minutes on KC and maybe a minute on Dharma, so far zero minutes on Benglefish and about an hour on DoRD. Bottom line is teams out of the playoff picture have more to prove then a team still trying for league championship. Also keep in mind many of the top dawgs in this game have to scout for other teams too like I helped Tallahassee beat Mexican Radio, also had to scout a few games for Double Decker Pee Wee Wrecker and the Pugs team vs Pee Wee Hermans.
