It's one thing to say Manstag should have won it, but a totally different thing to claim that Dust (or Longshanks or Gonzales) are not in his class, as leroy20 did. The first one is a matter of opinion in a close call, the latter just plain ridiculous.

They really need to set up a Pro Bowl, alpha vs zeta, and let us pick the teams. I want to see this D-line in action sooo bad!

Thanks for all the votes guys, Bubbles was being kept out of the endzone for a couple of games. He shaped up right away!

I want to say that I find it very hypocritical that you guys did not vote for Raekwon Jackson because you felt the only reason he had such good stats was because the defense for the Knights was on the field so much and yet did not consider Fritz who had a strong year. If the defense was on the field so much then that probably means that the offense was not on the field very much so for Fritz to gather so many yards on such few plays probably should represent a pretty strong year, the Knights did not have any 77-0 wins where all players get 3-4 TD's. I am disappointed that people took the time to take an all-star position away from a player that OBVIOUSLY deserved it in Raekwon Jackson but then went by strictly stats for everybody else. You all voted for a third string receiver, that is a tremendous job of scouting the players and not just voting for the highest stat person, congratulations guys!! Nothing against Stickei because he is a great player who torched us Knights however it is like Wes Welker, playing the slot you have either a LB, a safety or the nickel corner covering you. I am not trying to sound bitter because my players are not all-stars but Raekwon was the fourth leading tackler in the league and not an all-star, that is just wrong!!

I'd like to see a full team roster, not just a first string.

2 QBs
2 HBs
2 FBs
2 TEs
4 WRs
4 OGs and OTs
2 Cs

Same with defense. Call it first team, call it second team. Whatever.

I'm alright with being an All Star team Snub but it doesn't suprise me the guys that won diserved it. If you say that corners are only good if they don't have tackles because that means they don't get thrown at a lot you have not watched Raekwon play. Oh well I will continue to be your worst nightmare at the corner position if I am named to the All-Star team or not.

Clutch, I simply think both my nominees (Yeltsin, Chavez) had much better stats than Jackson. They had 10 and 14 picks to his 4, and way better tackle to pd ratio.

And while we're complaining about who made it and who didn't (isn't that was this was all for, to fill time in the offseason?), I'd like to throw a shout out to Speedy Gonzalez at PR. .2 fewer yard/return average and more TDs than the winner is a slim margin, especially to be completely snubbed.

Edit: Raekwon isn't there either... *rolls eyes*

Lets see, 4 more FGs made at a higher percentage than Manstag. Surely totally undeserved

see i wouldn't expect you to be so narrow sited. you think he has a higher kicking % where as i wouldn't. here's how I'd break it down
---------0-19----20-29-----30-39------40-49---50+
ManStag 100%-----100%-------100%------100%-----57%
Dust 100%--------100%-------100%------86%------50%

Dust isn't more accurate than manstag at any fg. he has a higher kicking % because hes made more short field goals and that's it. and tbh a fg under 40 yards is automatic for any of the kickers mentioned. you could line them up for a couple hundred a season and i don't think they'd miss. all i can say is manstags just as accurate at short range and more accurate at long range.

i ask this whats the measure of a good kicker? being clutch and the ability to make long fg's. its hard to measure how clutch a player is in glb but manstag has made plenty of fg's to win us games and no kicker in the league has made as many kicks from long range with his knd of accuracy

something else to add. 4 of manstags misses are from 54+ yard fg attempts. his shortest miss of the whole season on any fg was 50 yards and that was on the 2nd game of the season. he was very possibly the first kicker to attempt a 50+ yard fg in GLB and from a thread I'd read he's also tied up there as the first kicker to make a 50+ yard fg. since then the shortest fg he's missed is a 52.5 yarder which is the longest fg Dust has ever made.

just my bit on the whole kicker situation

Now whats the point in me spending hours chasing for votes, compiling them, sorting them out into an easily viewable spreadsheet, putting it online, and posting this thread.......

IF PEOPLE DONT LOOK AT IT!!

All those who recieved any vote should feel honoured and part of the ProBowl 'Squad'.

But as much as we want to argue about it, it is the opinion of those who replied.

Please note the comment about posting your teams own MVP awards.
If you've got something to say, say it in style!

Now, continue arguing, I'm bored without the play offs!

Thanks for the vote Mike, but Ivan is a LDE, not a DT I guess I'll have to get more sacks next season to get considered for my actual position

Congrats to Mahandz, Boris, and everyone else who got voted in!

You obviously didn't watch Raekwon play you just looked at stats. Raekwon is a menace against the outside run that is why he had so many tackles. But like I said the guys who won deserved to win.

Unlike you in regards to Dust I did admit that Manstag would be deserving, while you claimed Dust "was not even in his class", which is laughable as he is close. Obviously more people saw it differently than you, you did not even bother to put your vote in if I am not mistaken <shrugs>

It takes time to look at each player in detail through highlights, not just stats. By not voting they contributed to making the All Star team more "Accurate" as they would of done what most owners did and picked all the player with the most picks as the starting corners and so on...
