I wouldn't consider a team that has 2 winning seasons in USA Pro to be bad, but perhaps you do. I'm very proud of my team for those seasons given the competition.
I think the Woodys are a solid team. Not elite by any stretch, but solid. Better than most non USA Pro teams anyways.
I think this is a fair assessment. We are missing a few pieces to reach that elite level. I think our game planning can help us pick off a few teams who have more talent than us. There's a reason why I don't enter the elite tournaments- I know we don't belong there... yet. OFG is an elite team, its a shame that Duff Man is such a poor sport about it.
Any team that can hang with USA Pro is going to be easily in the top 2% teams of the entire game. We started a season after most of the teams here and have kept our roster with most of the same people from the beginning. Until the decline happens, we will be at somewhat of a disadvantage in terms of talent. Which is fine by me. Our stretch goal in Season 3 was making it to USA Pro by Season 10. We were helped somewhat by the rule change that allowed more than 1 team to move up, but we only had to use that 1 time out of the 4 moves we made up. There are 2688 uncapped teams right now, and I'd be shocked if we weren't in the top 1-2% of those teams.
