I mean your on here telling guys they are wrong and they need to this and that..like you know it all...but your SS has really done nothing that outstanding
Oh, how I love jealous noobs.
Oh how I love when people are wrong

Don't worry. All he ever does is tell people to build a player this way or that way as if he knows the programming code or something. He has been doing this since day 1 and he will continue to do it. After getting Speed/Vision/Agility all to 61, allow your own knowledge to take you from there. Your player will be just fine after that base as long as you don't pump kicking or something.

How am I wrong? You have a level 21 punter, and a level 20 S.S. You are a complete noob. If you have another account that's fine and dandy. I don't care. When I just started I had no idea how to play. So I know you're about right there too. You probably think you're good too. You think in the lower leagues you're a stud because you can do good in them. everyone does good in the lower leagues. Bad build or not. You won't know anything about yourself, or this game, until you play in the higher leagues.

I tell people how to build players because they ask. It's a place to come and ask for advice. If they take the advice that's fine. If they don't want to they don't have to.

You try to make me sound like a dick when all i am trying to do is help. How does it make me a dick to answer questions?

I'm probably only one of a handful of people who will take the time to answer pm's and give specific guides as to build a specific type of player an agent asks for. I actually take time out of my own day to help people.

I would appreciate you not making me out to seem like a dick because of this.

Now, with that said. Your advice is probably some of the worst I have seen. You always give bad advice. Always I never say a thing.

Now let's just move on.

telling people to go 61/61/61 and go from there isn't great advice for any position. you may disagree with UD but he is very helpful, though he may perhaps be blunt in his responses.

How are you wrong for starters this

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=127016
I had 2 LB's that retried when the team I am on went slow build I stayed on. The owner and I are friends.
One of my LB's was in AA or AAA(been awhile back I dont remember just for sure) for a couple of season. When the owner of the Hammerheads ask me to play for his team I jumped at it. Again I have known him since season 1. He recruited one of my LB's for the Anglers(which have long been since sold back)

I never said I was good at this game. I Heck my players have never been anything special.
But I just seen you telling guys this and that. When your own safety has really not done anything like some of the others I have seen in other pro leagues.

Now I may have came off like an ass..and for that I am sorry. But your the one that jumped to the conclusion that I was a noob since I just have 2 level 20ish players...again I been here since season 1..which you may have been to..but does any one really care how long you and I been here?

I am sure there a bunch of safeties like yours and mine to their respective levels
I just disagreed on your point about a run stuffing safety..then you go and call me a noob like I dont know what i am talking about. But I do have a sense of what i am talking about...so again your wrong.. You may want to really check your facts before your think your so sure of your self. I know you can not see the retrie players on my profile...but you may want to ask before you think you know when you dont know

Guys like you crack me up. You think you know all but half time you only know a small portion of what your talking about

As for playing in the higher leagues...ther was A and AA teams in the USA that could hold their own against pro teams before last season's reshuffle ...The level of players was close..and builds was close...

check yo self before you rig-gity wreck yo self!

that was fun to type.

as far as asking advice goes, lots of people do it, but mainly for self-affermation. Don't ask for advice if you can't handle constructive critisism. I don't ask the forums for any build advice, part of that is because I don't want my players picked apart by a bunch of one-off rookies.

You either got a swagger or you don't, and you have followers or not, its still just a game, Tim

Whatever.

You really need to check yourself.

I never insulted you . I just asked where is your "outside of the box thinking" that you said you did. It looks like you went for the most part the same route like most in building a SS
I then said it looks like you have normal saftey that plays coverage. You gave the advice to the OP for what basically is a coverage SS. When he asked about a a run support/hard hitting SS
Again I have seen SS's in this game force a lot more fumbles and rack up a lot more TLF's against equal completion there yours have. I then pointed out most of your stats(mainly TFL's and FF's) came against gut jobs/cpu type teams.
Then you proceed to think I just joined this site, when it in fact i been here for a good while. Now if calling your SS(dot) normal/average..or whatever is insulting to you..then you really need to find a bit more self confidence in your self. Again I just disagreed with what you was saying in building a run stuffer/hard hitter, and called your dot average Now if insulting a dot is insulting you then you have loads of problems.
I disagreed with you...you basically told me I did not know what I was talking about and when in fact I do have a clue.(it may not be the right way or the best way..but a small clue)
So someone disagrees with you and you get your panties tied in a not and go off calling them a noob and they dont know what they are talking about.

SO you either care when someone disagrees with you..or you have very low self esteem and just think your always right on a internet game to make yourself feel better

I am building two safeties to compliment each other. The SS is more of a run stuffer but can cover if needed. My build plan went as follows... I have forgotten some things since they are level 32 right now but...

Speed to 61
Vision to 61
Agility to 61
Tackling to 48
Stamina to 48... so I do not have to worry about it and can help my team to the fullest of my dot's ability
Strength to 48 (currently working on... level 34 should have this at 50.xx)
Currently training vision/confidence and will continue to do this until confidence is nearer to 30.

This might put me near level 40 (after a three level boost to 35 on day 1) so I have 30 skill points to play with right now (because the next 10 will go into strength).

Question is, do those 30 points bump confidence up to the 48 cap, move strength to 61, move tackling to 61 or special abilities?

I think I might look to bump up strength/tackling while continue training vision/confidence at that moment. Then, at level 40 start pumping points into special abilities. I plan on putting skill points in the Hard Hitter tree to the tune of 22233... which will put me at 22277 because I have one AEQ in Big Hit and Monster Hit. (another 17 points)

Here are my current stats: I have yet to buy level 32 equipment so add +2 to speed and +2 to agility
Strength: 42.09
Speed: 84.09
Agility: 68.69
Jumping: 21.69
Stamina: 48.09
Vision: 65.09
Confidence: 16.69

Football Skills
Tackling: 50.09

If you have a decent DC... this build can be quite successful. And, this is at level 32 right now. I did not boost until I was level 22 and I have 82 bonus tokens for my two AEQ's right now.

at level 32 your speed and agility need to be close to done.(meaning like 100/80) you're so far behind now. That guy will never be pro material.
also way too much tackling already. My level 55 just now got 50 tackling last level.

Um, no. A SS that can run support, cover a TE like he is supposed to do is just fine where my SS is. Every safety does not need 100+ speed to be effective and I could easily see my duo being pro caliber. Thanks for the vanilla lesson but speed and agility are not the only two skills in the game.
