I would be all for it 3 seasons ago. But after playing in tournaments the last couple of seasons, I'm against it now. Several reasons:

1) It really would hurt the tournaments, I don't think I would play in tournaments if we are in the world league, no point. League champion will obviously be crowned the "GLB Champ", although I think that is likely not the case. Teams change from season to season, see Bonn and WSI, if world league was formed this season, WSI would be in and Bonn probably not (could be wrong on this), but we all know where these two teams are at. And it would be very possible that a team not in the world league emerge as the best team in GLB, but they would never have a chance to prove themselves. Current tournaments allows teams a chance to prove themselves.

2) Is world league really the best league in the game? That is very debatable. Think about it, right now I would say about half of the top 32 teams are probably from USAPL, that would be 16 teams, if 4 goes to world league, there are still 12 left in USAPL. Take USAPL West for example, even if we lose 2 of the top 4 teams (MEM/WW/HHW/MM), we still have 2 that can compete with anyone in GLB, and if one of the lower seeds make a run in the playoffs (like O last season), we could still have the big 3 in our conference next season. Truth is, USAPL can probably go head to head against the world league and be very competitive.

I think WPL is needed, but I am scared of the implementation.

Why not just stop calling USA Pro, USA Pro and etc? Why not call it Pro League 1, Pro League 2, etc....this game needs to get rid of the geographic league names.

Then, make the game one big ass bowtie like an NCAA basketball tournament bracket except 10 times the size or whatever. This way you can just continue to do relegation the same qay it is currently done. I've never been on a team that gets relegated, but I assume if you get relegated from USA Pro you don't get to pick if it's AAA #1 or AAA#2.

Don't you guys think it will be hilarious to see the teams that "dominate" the rest of the world continually getting buttslammed by USA Pro teams? Think WSI but multiply that by 28.
