The thing is, i took carrying up 12 points last off season and have had more passes knocked loose since. I guess i have to take it to the 60 cap, but i'm worried it won't mean shit. any one have a TE, or know of one, that doesn't have issues with KL? Is it really carrying to 60?

Depends on what you consider a problem. I think I have had less than 20% knocked loose this season. It's higher than it has been but is not in the 50% area that some folks have.

My build looks like crap on the screen, and play in US AA so competition isn't the same as what others are seeing, but I can tell you my strength is higher than the amounts listed here. Also, he is built purely as a short-yardage/blocking TE, not one that will streak down the field.

Hard to know if cover up helps against knocked loose or its just fumbling. Either way the SA won't help unless carrying is high already.

I dont have Knocked loose issues at all. 54 receptions and 3 drops doesnt seem like much to me =)

Sorry to say though..im not giving my secret away to anyone unless i know them..(like ultrajer there) Though to be perfectly honest..im not even sure my "secret" is whats really causing me to not have many drops.

The level of competition makes a difference, too. My TE often went up against players 8-10 levels higher than him this season, so I guess I should expect him to get jackhammered now and then.

sorry. aside from the private TE forums and the posts in the general GLB forums, this is getting old and just making us look bad. it's not a bug, it's not anything other than bad builds.
really.

Absolutely true. My TE went against fairly even level opponents.

Like a normal TE should be built. How often does a track star come in to play TE and succeed?

exactly. TE's are NOT meant o be high speed/agility players. they can do well in that role, and obviously we have two different kinds of TE's now. but the people I have seen in other forums bitching about this are having unrealistic expectations based on an unrealistic build ( realistic meaning the GLB world.. not a "real " TE . )

it may not be your problem, what is the qb doing re his settings? is he throwing the ball to hard or too soft? does he have his settings right? how are the other recievers on your team doing re drops?

check it out...

Thats better. At least some answers and not just crying about their crying. TE's even in the NFL are fairly balanced. Not the fastest, not the strongest, but pretty all around. They FIND a way to beat you as best they can. Out run some people, out muscle other people. Just catch the ball and make sure you can hold on to it..thats your job when you go out for a pass. Not to take it for a 50 yard TD..you are not the WR.

Your job is not to pancake every DE you are up against, just slow em down...pancaking them is for the O-linemen.

Just be good at both..not great at either.... and you will excel.
