One thing I would suggest that needs to be added to your real world NT, is stamina. There are a ton of big tough NTs, but only the best are capable of controlling the line for the duration of the game. That is one of the things that defines the elite from the good, the ability to consistently control the line throughout the entire game.

And in GLB you could get good results with 3 NT's for 3-4. They wouldn't have to spend that many points in stamina, and there would still be a fresh one in the field.

Well, I am going to make them today.
Any difference on LE/RE? Now that the game has blind side for QB, should RE be more of a pass rusher than LE?
No, because they're not meant to be pass rushers to be anyways.

Interesting to see if I can ever make these guys. I have now rolled 650K rolls, without getting a DT I wanted. This might take a while...

i would think 80 base is plenty (on the DEs)
Not if you are building a true 3-4. IMO - you want the DEs controlling the OTs.
I would say for a true 3-4 line
NT - Strength to 6:1, tackling to 3:1, agility to 5:1, tackling to 4:1, speed to 2:1, vision 2:1, speed 3:1, vision 3:1
DEs - Strength to 5:1, tackling to 3:1, agility to 5:1, tackling to 4:1, speed to 2:1, vision 2:1, speed 3:1, vision 3:1

it depends what you want your DEs to do. 3-4 DEs are not, despite common perception, meant to just eat up blockers. their primary function is gap control, but you're also expected to win. they play single or double gap coverage inside out generally (this varies with blitzes, stunts, etc.) and are usually expected to beat their blocker.
in glb terms, 80 base str still lets you take agility to 77, which gives you a pretty nice base for a 3-4 DE. At 75+ base agility and 80 base strength, you're flexible along with EQ and can cause problems vs. the run and the pass. just a little more versatile imo.
edit: i'm just realizing that we're really only disagreeing about a single cap...it's probably a marginal difference in the long run but either way would work i think

I just think you can afford to spend more in strength since you aren't going to need the SAs or the speed of a 4-3 DE.

Why tackling second? 3-4 linemen hardly make any tackles whatsoever. Also if you are taking agility higher than tackling, then you will be wanting that before tackling regardless to take bigger benefit of the natural increases. Stamina simply HAS to invested in as you generally are taking punishment from two linemen so you HAVE to be able to go all game, regardless if you sub in and out. I have been looking at the decline of players from the bigging of games to the end and all slow substantially.
Whilst the stamina is ok by the end of the game, the in game breath has a huge impact on performance.

not to speak for rage, but tackling increases help tackle radius supposedly (you can often see this in replays) which is pretty important considering GLB dots don't slow down much going thru the LOS.
also, this myth about 3-4 DEs taking on two blockers consistently should really be dispelled.

Why tackling second?
training progression
You train strength tackling until you can cap strength. Then you cap strength and continue training strength/tackling until you can second cap strength. (Of course trying to time the % so you can roll over with next training)
Then you are training tackling agility. Because tackling will be much closer to cap, you cap tacking first. Continue training tackling/agility. Because you are still getting big level gains, it will be able to second cap tackling before you can first cap agility.
Now you switch to training agility/speed. While taking agility to 5:1, tackling will get pretty close to the 4:1, so you might as well cap it at that point.
Now you are trainings speed/stamina until you can cap speed.
train vision/confidence until you can cap vision.
train speed/stamina until you can second cap speed.
train vision/confidence until you can second cap vision.
train stamina/confidence until you can cap both.
You don't have to switch capping speed/vision if team is still in complete slowbuild mode, but you will probably be sick of complete slowbuild mode by that point and want to switch because it will make your player better sooner.
