^^^ i knew you were from Tuscon.... and like I said if and when Bort changes that rule then it won't be allowed, but for right now the rules allows for the recruitment of FA'S and also trades made to better your team REGARDLESS of the league your in. Now if you start enjoying this game for what its worth and stop acting like a sissified ass homo then just trying to see if you could create the perfect build for your player and the interaction with your teammates on this social website would be enough. Instead you bitch and moan and complain about somthing that simulates before its scheduled time and is over in under a full second..... whats the matter you weren't good enough to even play NAIA ball in college

I don't have a problem with them getting the best players they can within the rules. Thats the name of the game, and if they are good enough to move up then it will take care of itself.

The Canes added players all year and we didn't win a single playoff game. We have 9 players at level 16 or higher, they have 5 at level 16 or higher, but they got a bunch of 14 and 15's which sounds like guys who started right after season one and have been on the team all year.

I don't think its a given they win it all, likely but not a given.

There biggest advantage I feel is in game planning from being testers.

While I was disappointed to see the Elves in the division at the start of the season (we were the first human team in the division so had no choice in our opponents), it was always a possibility no matter what league we selected and I don't have any issues with them being here. I wrote off the season anyway as a development season and i'm fairly happy with the results and data i've picked up in the process, and next season is another story. Could argue that they've contributed some data i'd otherwise have missed out on and we've gained from the sparring in the forums.

As for boosting by signing FAs pre-playoffs, sure it's annoying but it is necessary for a lot of teams and I myself looked to jump on a big issue prior to our game, as I have done all season. You take the opportunities your offered in life and make of them what you can. I'll wish the teams that go up good luck, the teams that might go down if more leagues are added comiserations, and i'll get on with scouting the market for that next big improvement.

I like you & your view & share in that somewhat & agree that Silverymoon being here is just the breaks. As Dogwar pointed out there is an investment of time & somewhat money & I could have chosen a team anywhere because I was hitting F5 alot the day they were released but I chose the BBB because I wanted very much to start at the very bottom & earn my way to the pro-leagues. The first thing as some know that set me off about Silverymoon was their bragging that they started at the start of the season & it did'nt sound like a team that was "stuck" in a BBB conf but I forgot about them & went about building my team. Again as you say it is what it is & I've wasted enough breath & time on it. we have a game to play before I can even worry about them.

First things first I dont play video games I purchase them for my children so if you were implying I am a child you are foolish and then mistaken.... secondly it was your choice to be an owner Bort didn't call you or hack your email and make you purchase a team. As far as competitive spirit goes you must not be an owner who reads many of our threads because anyone who knows about the Lumberjacks also know that I am very competitive but always in a good natured way. I take loses with a grain of salt as well as victories and never am I complaining or whining like a fag cause the teams arent equal. Did you never play college football and the other team was bigger or high school basketball and the other team were taller..... what did you do then run and find an adminstrator or principal and beg them to make thing even

I think you really need to look at it from both sides of the coin. As a non-owner it's easy to say, ya quit bitching it's a game, blah-blah-blah. While I agree with you there I'm also not an owner of any team so I don't have near as much invested as they do. Like Black Jesus, these guys put in a lot of time, and in some cases money I would assume, to have a team that is competitive enough in the division. I can see where the frustration comes from on their behalf when someone goes out and signs a player like the Elves did. But it is not against the rules, and therefore not an issue, but until that is fixed then really there is nothing to do about it.

I would imagine for some owners it was/is quite disheartening to see that happen right before the playoffs. Not that many had hopes of beating the Elves anyway.

I for one hope we make it through tonight's game just to see how we will fair against them again.

So no one beside me is willing to devulge their game plan, the silverymoon thread is a good read if you want to bitch and moan, i intended this to be a scout session for anyone who plays them, but most of you seem to think it is hopless and are wanting them to move up... fuck it hand them the title and forgo the whole playoff process.

I'd love to give you my gameplan, but we got the shit kicked out of us, 30-6.

I'd happily give my gameplan to anyone who asks but in private & only because where still in it. If we were out I would post it here.
