Vanuatu deserves the 8 spot more than Winona does.............

Have to disagree. The 4 wins Vanuata has, there are 3 winless squads in there. The 2 games that they have played against good teams...lost by 150 points combined. They will have to beat or at least stay within a couple of TD's of a good team before they can crack my top 8...sorry.

gotta disagree with you I still think Winona is 10. Their wins have come against two 0-6 teams, and one 1-5 teams. Vanuatu has beaten Krungthep (yes an 0-6 team but a MUCH better one than Tokyo and Quahog) and Duluth. Duluth should also be ahead of Winona imo because they've played an even harder schedule than Winona has, plus they've beaten Surabaya and Sault St before they gutted.

Man, they failed their first test of the year pretty severely in week 6. They were down 21-7 after the first quarter and never recovered. They were shredded in the air and Dot Shrink, although he did cough up a few, was pretty much unstoppable otherwise.

They are the champs and had played great D before that last game. Who knows if one or both or neither temp boosted, so I'm going to give them the Nod over the Marauders at this point.

I'm going to guess if people did temp boost on the Pirates or Tire Fires it was less than 5 per team, and they weren't starters/main players. In the grand scheme of things, outside the rivalry of course, we both realize that game meant next to nothing. All a score like this tells me(and this only goes for ESL vs BLPP) is that Joe didn't have alot of time to gameplan(or didn't care) or is setting us up for something in the playoffs.

I think some do...if you have your Advanced EQ set up and you aren't working on any additional pieces, that 1 SP a couple of times helps. If nothing else I think some people may do it just for that.

I don't know really know who does or who doesn't, which is why I made the statement above.

temp boosts are gay, and so are the people who still do them, AEQ is way better

some probably still do. after all these seasons I'd like to believe I know the Pirates team pretty well though and would be pretty surprised if they token boosted to try and beat us now. the rest of the league I have no idea if/when they would

take what you want from it, but I dont think anybody from PDD does. At least nobody talks about it in the forums ("Hey, Im gonna tempt boost for this game, what should it be?"), they could do it on their own I guess Nothing collectively though. AEQ is the way to go imo.

the only time to temp boost is during the first season of slowbuilding and that is just to collect the SPs so you can hit a cap faster.

I guess if you needed a W to make the playoffs then boosting a HB or WR might make sense.

For me it depends on your advanced EQ...if you are maxed on your pieces and have enough saved up for your next upgrade, holding onto more token then that doesn't help you out. Redeeming them for the 1 SP every time before the playoffs isn't a bad idea. Also, yeah if you NEED a win for the playoffs it makes sense.

It's impossible with how many different agents we have on all of these teams to coordinate a team boost anyway, The Hardcore GLB'ers read the messageboards everyday, but quite a few agents are just casual..they check in and read the board when they read them.

We used them on the Bats when we played LSP, SRB, and BT, and maybe a few others. Basically, only against teams we didn't think we had a chance to beat w/o performance enhancing tokens. I think it only worked once - last season against the Red Bulls, but I don't even know how many guys boosted or what they boosted.

Individuals might individually use them but I don't think BLPP has ever gotten together and said hey lets token boost.
