str, vision and catch will be the priority for my TE. I will work on that.

every1 already has 40+ points in carrying and about 60+ in catching... we aren't runningbacks therefore we can't afford 60+ carrying along with that
IMO there's a balance problem within the system
we either need a VA to counter Jackhammer (Mr Reliable only works on 3rd/4th downs and I got forced drops on 3rd downs even though my Mr Reliable is maxed out)
Also a modification to the Cover Up SA that would protect you against drops would be nice
Or something like it would be way easier to break huge tackles right after a catch if you have enough vision to see them coming (the defender thinks it's going to be a free hit therefore gets overconfident and can be fooled more easily)

^^I already know that... I would like to know the approximate level of your TE's carrying and catching
your TE has 15 rec and 4 drops this season so he also seems to be affected by Jackhammer inbalance

I totally agree with your point, but I do know that carrying helps. My TEs catching is about 60 & carrying is over 50. Another high level TE I know has carryying only a little under 40 & has tons of knocked loose comparitively.
Another aspect in this argument I have seen is some of these knocked loose should be fumbles. I have seen a receiver catch & begin running, then have it knocked loose & it isn't a fumble.
I would like to see it balance out a little, but some of these LBs & DBs are built as heavy hitters too, with the specialization that has become common on most teams you will just see a lot of that, & the ability shouldn't be taken away from guys that are just built that way.
I would like to see how a total possession TE's numbers look.

Personally I do not necessarily think that the ability itself has to be nerfed, but we should at least have some tools to fight back.
Safeties can use a combination of Zone specialist + Ball Hawk + Jackhammer to increase their momentum right before the catch so that they can make a bigger hit... I will probably lurk the Safety boards for that info
LBs do not necessarily use Zone sp and Ball Hawk but I see how Jackhammer plus power tackling could be too effective on a well built LB.
TEs don't get anything other than Mr Reliable and maybe clutch to protect themselves from Jackhammer and these two abilities only work on 3rd/4th downs... It's easy to say raise 3-4 stats and you'll be ok but it's unfair for us if all they have to do is invest VA pts while we have to invest SP

I think the balance is screwed up... I have the same problem and am currently raising carrying and catching... Catching is over 60 and carrying is right at 44 and will be capped soon.
I think the biggest thing is LB's with high strength/tackling and relatively lower speed can keep up with a much faster TE. I think this is the main thing that set's good TE's in the NFL is they can get away from the LB to get open and make that catch out of traffic. Doesn't seem to be the same here. My TE has over 100 speed and 70 agility and still can't get open long enough to make a catch.
I think there needs to be more disparity between say a 80 speed LB and 100+ speed TE... That LB should not be able to keep up even though in this game of DOT ball he can.

ive starting working on carry/confidence.... since my carrying has it 40 ive not had a drop... but the two games were against weaker teams.

First Step is a great SA for TEs and has created separation for my TE. My TE only has about 90 speed, but with my first step adv EQ I burn LBs off the line or out of cuts enough to get open.

How many in first step do you have? I've also had a problem finding good AE, I get something crappy every time.

what setting are you using for ball carrying/running style?
ive had mine set more toward elusive (75%) but im changing it to more power to see if i notice a difference..
