Once again, why do you keep talking about your Safety in a D-Line forum? Nobody cares! If we did we would ask about her on the Safety forum not here.

I don't think Killernut boosts, so 35 is gonna near retirement time.

Well I can attest to a speed DE in a tough AA league who has done squat this season. I am going to try and switch over to agility based and see what happens from there.

I'll attest to it here and now. I switched a bunch of CE from speed to agility. moving about 6 pts from one to the other. Made a NOTICEABLE difference.

w/ equip went from 100spd and 79 agi to 94 spd and 85agi. Had a nice day with sacks, hurries, and FFs - against a tackle/guard combo that outleveled me...

Trust that Agility is king (as long as you have some decent closing speed to get to the QB once you're past the blockers).

I'm a believer.

It depends on what league you're in. A simple switch from speed to agility isn't going to make a significant difference in the pro leagues as far as I can tell. Maybe if you could add agility without sacrificing speed, it would have an impact.

It would make a huge difference if both of them are roughly the same naturally and somewhere around 80ish for both.

Yeah mine is terrible.

getting most of your sacks off cpu players half your level does not mean you are doing well.

you should look at his game log again. even if you take away the sillysacks he's got like 20+ legit ones. but, i still buy the agility > speed argument lol

today was the like the 2nd time i've seen him shut out in like 2 seasons and he was a L43 going against a L60+ tackle.

Make sure you get your shed blocks up as well.

There is more of that to come once he gets into the higher levels. Speed won't beat tackles higher level than you. ever. Agility will. Have fun with your speed ends. That game is about what most speed ends do when they play against real competition.

This season, at least, Agility ends are truly king.

I am in a minor uncapped league and can't seem to get any sacks... ever. I originally led read the Wiki which states that the blocking attribute will help with gettng past a blocker. Um... no. Here's my stats. You tell me what I am doing wrong.

Level 44
Strength 65
Speed 67
Agiltiy 85
Vision 61

SA PAss Rush
First step 7
Change Direction 5
Shed Block 6
Tunnel Vision 3
Big Sack 6

Ideas?

.... Or do I retire and start over?
