The more accurate summary would be that I know how to build the best cb because I've built an elite cb and have seen the builds of other elite cbs and had numerous discussions with the best cb builders about what goes into cbs. And the argument that what works now won't work in seven seasons doesn't work because these cbs have worked for the past 9 seasons despite the huge changes that took place. I agree that many builds are capable of meeting some goal as a CB. What goal I aim for is to be able to shutdown any type of wr that comes my way. The build that I advocate can do that.
I also don't think it is as simple as having the best stats in your league. I've played this game long enough to know how easily stats are skewed by playing gutted or over-matched teams, or just by the scheme a cb plays in. What makes those cbs so great is that they have been able to shut down any wr that comes their way in any league.
I am also not assuming that I can define the sole method of being successful, I'm trying to guide new players to the best method of being successful. UD has been arguing that equal speed and agility will get a cb burned by a fast cb, so he advocates 100+speed at the expense of agility. I stated that I had proven him wrong, and you responded that no one has been proven wrong. The success of the cbs with equal speed and agility and the lack of success, or less success, of cbs with 100+speed/70 agility is my proof.
