Only thing I would argue is how in the world did your system figure that USA BBB #13 was the weakest league? I mean, we might not be the strongest, but I am pretty sure we aren't the weakest...

He's cocky but not that cocky. These rankings are correct but Tecmo has a better offense and defense (#1 overall for both) just our ST isn't as good. The numbers might have us at #2 but I think it's obvious...

Yeah, the stick man really puts an absolute ton of effort into these and has taken a lot of flak over them. At times things happen over the season to change the landscape of a league and the values of stats, but he's got to work with what's there. I know teams have changed their line-ups, change owners, fell apart and been remade. He's constantly seeking a smarter recipe.

With that in mind, it can fuel some good fun in the who's better threads. Just try to keep in mind that he's totally gone out of his way and put up his best efforts to be legitimate and give something to us we can have fun with.

Thanks, Stickman.

So, since all stats are coming from within your own league - does this mean a higher average score (especially coupled with a lower highest ranking) implies higher league parity? Or would it be a tougher/better overall league?

Very cool. I was very surprised to see the Crimson Marauders the first team listed from BBB#16. I would have expected Dallas, EasyCompany or Atlanta before us.

That looked like alot of data, thanks for the post!

I didn't list it last night, but I think the standard deviation of the rankings within each league would be the best measure of parity. The lower the Std dev, the closer all the teams in a league are ranked, indicating more parity. So BBB#16 has teams ranked all over the place (relatively), and BBB#2 has teams ranked closest together.

BBB#2 ------17.47
BBB#7 ------18.18
BBB#13 -----18.27
BBB#11 -----19.47
BBB#5 ------20.33
BBB#1 ------20.75
BBB#14 -----21.06
BBB#3 ------21.20
BBB#10 -----21.45
BBB#15 -----21.50
BBB#8 ------21.62
BBB#9 ------21.72
BBB#12 -----22.79
BBB#4 ------23.02
BBB#6 ------23.90
BBB#16 -----24.48

Thanks,
StickMan
