i dont do mvp because players on my team believe its a team effort and they don't seek a kudos beyond a win. just because you have some desire to make all of us clap at some player or another does not mean we have to give in to it. everyone on my team is the mvp from the backups to the starter and I have no desire for poisen pills where everryone suddenly wants to be a stat whore. if you want to follow stats the unsubjective vote is clearly posted already on the league leader board.

The NFL, NBA and MLB have been doing it for years and they all seem to be going okay. Hmmm...whodathunkit. I don't particularly CARE if y'all don't want to participate or not, I was just floating an idea that seemed interesting to me. Maybe some teams would have nominated players that are NOT on your unsubjective (you invented a word!) stat-lists.

If you are basing the players' value on these lists, then who's the stat-whore, really? Yup, you.

And what exactly have I done to deserve these personal attacks? Have I ever claimed that my team was the best in the BBB?? Outside of a verbal sparring match with the the guys from Rochester in defense of my GM, I have never rubbed my teams success in anyone's face. Nor have I made any predictions about how far we will go.

And for what it's worth (not that I owe you or anyone else an explanation) our team is made up of about 6-7 "slope-headed" Texans that have been friends for a long time, so when you insult me you insult every one of them...and we take our football seriously so go fuck yourself.

When I say I don't have the time that means I don't want to spend the time to do homework on every good/great player in the league just to vote for some poll that doesn't mean shit....or would you rather I just pick players at random from the League Leader board? Obviously you didn't read my first post (surprise!) in which all I was asking was for each owner to submit three of THEIR OWN players for consideration. I'm not quite sure how that would require you to scour the League Leader board looking for random players. It's called comprehension, genius. Most people use reading and comprehension in TANDEM to understand exactly what it is that is being read. So who's really squirming in their stupidity here?

I'm sure you're pleased as punch that you have your super-awesome football team here on the internets (I didn't think they let you folk use this thing!) since you can't seem to cut it in the life skills department.

I'm okay with not having an MVP vote, I don't care either way, I was just throwing it out there as something I see being done elsewhere. It was the absurdity (read: pompousness) of your declination, though, that stuck in my craw. If you can't take time off from burning ants with a magnifying glass and pulling wings off flies then so be it.

As I've said before I'm quite civil until I'm provoked and then all bets are off, and the way I see it this was a pure provocation on your GM's part without just cause. I'm going to leave it that. I've never said anything derogatory about you or your team and I'm not going to start now.
