And the answers no. Not possible. not even close.

For the record, I think Miller is probably the best return guy in EEPL. Or at least is the return guy for the best return team in the league.

But xeef, 104 of the punt return TDs last season were against gutted teams, and should not count. Trophies that account for plays against gutted teams are not the best way to gauge who is a better player, since a good player (like Miller) can have a season's worth of stats in one game against gut jobs. You played 3 last season, where Miller averaged over 30 TDs per game. Not the best way to tell who the best return guy is in the league.

Whatever be the case, I personally don't think there is an argument as to who is the best returner. I mean the stats and PBP speak for themselves.

Amtrak you know I LOVE you. But, as mentioned Miller Miller has something nobody else does. He has that incredible blocking force in front of him. I wish I could provide that for you.

There are guts in every league and every season. It's a fair comment and point Neal but honestly i don't think it matters. It's the entire unit that works and is a bit more involved than I think some are giving xeef credit for. I see the builds, I see our forum threads. It's not a "set and forget" process and "show me the trophies".

I'm thankful he is on our side.

Miller had returns against Ballers, SGA, and LRC. The 3 top teams in Zeta. I'm not a bragger (i've got no rights here, though we went heavy after him so maybe that is worth something) or trash talker, but I really don't see why this is even up for debate.

It's not up for debate tbh

Miller Miller in 13 games still had more TDs than every other returner in 14 or 15 games (this is obviously subtracting gutted teams).

And like Evileyez said, Miller Miller was doing it against the top teams last season too.

1. LRC - 1 TD
2. Ballers - 2 TDs
3. SGA - 2 TDs
4. Hellas
5. RR - 2 TDs

I was waiting for this one. I agree with your premise that its not the best way, but the best ways lead you to the same conclusion as well, and I want to address this line of thought.

I would buy this logic if 1) anyone else could have equaled his production in those games and 2) jackie didnt have the same situation whith less than half the results.

He played the same schedule everyone else did. I didnt see ANYONE else in the game get 44 TDs in 46 returns or even 31 out of 33 against ANY opponent. I dare say your average great returner will fall on his own 2 out of 46 times.

And how many TDs did the opposition average in those 3 seasons you mention? 12. or a third of millers productivity. take guts out of both, he still has twice as many TDs. Look at production vs the best teams, its not even close.

Even when he gets shut down, say vs the pests, hes averaging nearly 20 a PR.

And I fully expect a MAMMOTH drop off this season, like I said, the original premise of the thread is jut not going to happen.

However, hes out performing everyone in the preseason, scoring in each so far. No guts there either. Some nasty talent in the conquerers too... and im not saying that simply cause they are our next opponent either.

In my post, I agreed that he is the best. But to use ridiculous TD numbers, which mainly came against gutted teams, does nothing for that argument. The few TDs against the top teams that Enders listed carries 100 times the weight of the over 100 TDs for the season that mainly came against gutted teams.

Again, I agree Miller and his crew are the best return team in the league. But using total TDs that mainly came against gutted teams is not the way to make the point.

and im saying that hes over rated, but not because of this, they DO do something for the argument, because no one else could have achieved the same numbers in those situations.

Like I started with, I dont like to brag. its bad karma.

I will attempt to end this by stipulating that Jackie is better on his team than miller would be and miller is better here than Jackie would be. Its a design thing

As reluctant as I am, Miller Miller and his voodoo doll have forced me to admit that he's the best and xeef is In FACT the greatest builder of ST players that have danced the gridiron of GLB.
