I'm just making sure I'm comprehending what you've articulated here. Did I miss something? I mean, you used quite a few ">'s" there for emphasis.

Please show me exactly where I said speed is not important? You can't, therefore, you struggle in reading comprehension.
I simply said strength and agility are much more important than speed for powerbacks. I also said that my guy isn't at the 3:1 cap for speed. So obviously, speed is somewhat a factor, seeing as I have it for my guy at 58, but not nearly as much a factor as some make it out to be (like you, who say your guy is at 90).
I never said your guy isn't good with his speed, just simply, he's not a powerback.

i think attempting to show you and describing his logic probably shows he's not struggling in reading comprehension.

Just because his logic is wrong, doesn't change that I never did say speed is not important, which is his whole reason for chastising me in the first place.

his logic may or may not be right, but i am pretty sure he's comprehending you just fine.

And like I said, obviously not because he's saying that I said something I never said. There's no logic involved in that. Either I said speed is not important or I didn't say that. He says I did, yet I never did. It's not exactly a hard thing to understand.

His inference was that when you said "Why does a powerback need speed?" you were asking a rhetorical question, meaning to suggest that a powerback didn't need speed. Hence, speed=not important.
You may or may not have intended it that way, but taken together with the rest of your post I think that's the conclusion most people would've drawn.
Not really worth arguing over, though . . . .

Why would speed be important? Because Force = Mass x Acceleration. Since both Agility and Speed contribute to your velocity, it would stand to reason that speed will contribute to running people over in the open field.

This is GLB, not Kinematics. You can't over think GLB and ever be right.

I am just wondering, why agility? With no speed, what is all the acceleration for???? My power back has done well for quite some time with rather low agility. I have not used a single point in it ever!!! I have however trained the hell out of it to over the 3:1 cap.

Yeah, I mean you can get away with fairly low agility but it's not optimal. I know quite a few guys who run sub 60 agility and still have great productivity.

He's around 90 speed/30 agility right now.
