aha! i just didn't really understand how you were ranking us. You took our passing game and rushing game and ranked us out of 32. then you did the same with defense. Thats 4s categories, then you take our average points scored and points allowed and add them all together and divide by 6 .

This is actually a pretty ingenious system, but your right that it is flawed. But i can't think of a way to rank teams without using statistics.

Take for example the fact that the Boston Massacre have the 4rth best passing game, and 10th bets running game. We can pretty much do what we want against most defenses. We can exploit almost any weakness they have defensivly.
But if you take our defense, we are absolutely awful. But the thing is, a team can only score so much in a certain amount of time. So it doesn't matter if our defense is the 25th worst in the league, or the 20th worst, The opposing team isn't likely to score THAT much more points just because we miss 4 more tackles and don't get an INT.
But that difference in the average is huge. This system will reward teams that are more well rounded, and well rounded teams generally win, but not always. With us it turns into a scoring route, which we won 9 16 times.

Idk if there is a way to factor in offensive and defensive plays per game? That could effect the average significatly. And it reflects how dominant your team is at controlling the ball offensivly, and how good the defense is at forcing those quick 3 and outs.

This might also be flawed though, but if it is i can't see one? If you do please let me know. Otherwise i can take the stats accumlated by Rhuin, and add in the O-plays/g and D-plays/g to it somehow.

But that was due to the prolific rate of your offense. Do you really think that if they had missed more of their tackles that you would have been able to score more? Unless they were earthshattering tackles, like they stopped you from breaking free with your HB, I don't think it would make much of a differenc if they stopped you third and 4 on the 30 yrd line, or 3rd and 2 on the 38 yrd line. Your still going to make a FG, and that is less tackles for them if they stop you earlier.

You see what i am saying? But you had 55 ofensive plays, averaging 1.9 points a play. And they had 82 offensive plays, averaging 0 points a play.

In a matchup who would win? stats say rock stars, but oklahoma has the best defense in the league. So wouldn't that give them a MAJOR edge on the rock stars? Who debatedly have the best offense in the league?

No, The owner of the rockstars owns the whole team. That makes him a god. He control every players tactics.

My defense can hold it's own. Ask anyone who has played the Rockstars. We held the Monkeys to 35 yards rushing on 18 attempts and they are averaging 325 yards a game on the ground. I think I am 2nd in every defensive category. Of course now that I've said this, my defense is going to give up 400 yards and 40 points in a playoff game.

I'm actually kind of rooting to lose in the playoffs because I don't think my team is quite ready for the next level. Need one more season. I'm still going to try and win though because I'm too competitive.

It's all in fun. I've always thought we were the 3rd best team in the eastern conf. Whatever happens tomorrow, this leagues is alot of fun and I hope we don't lose teams like yours to different leagues.
