Likely bug or the blocking angle issue Bort corrected, the center is on a great Pro team so I doubt the build is the issue.

yeah I think trading out speed for agility would be good way to go

His build is pretty rough for his level (assuming he's your lvl 54 guy)

you should be looking at a natural 80 or so in both speed/agility by now, strength in the low 70s.

Looks like your guy had a blah starting stat roll and maybe you rushed putting points into your SAs.

Actually I was shut out two games out of 18 including playoffs last year. One game when D-Cord forgot to put CB into coverage during customer D plays. So I wouldn't say shut out.

I disagree. I think SA are way over valued. I much rather use those same points to make one skill in the really really elite. You have the same builds for most 95 spd 80 agility 7 FS 7 TV blah it doesn't work and people keep giving advice that it does work.

It's highly opposition dependent. Some games you kick ass, some games you get shutout. QUOTE]

Other than that, get some backup DEs for the team. You're playing every defensive snap currently with a 47 stamina. For most of the game you are probably too tired to get a good burst around the edge.

Too true. His last game all of his hurries came in the first quarter. Most of his pancakes came 2-4.

His build is rough. This was one of the first guys I rolled up when I started GLB. His production has been up and down based on what Bort does with the sim, but I had gotten kinda attached to him and didn't want to retire him yet. Like I said, I'll probably let him finish out his contract his year, retire him and use the flex to roll up a DE the right way instead of wasting SP every season trying to correct mistakes from 5 or more seasons ago.

Most lvl 50+ guys have rough builds, season 1 and 2 few people considered the concept of supper slow building, the idea was, you distribute points right after the roll and you stick points into SAs once you got to 20+. The only way you are getting to about 80 in both speed and agi is if you sit your guy for 2-3 seasons and 3-4 cap both to start the build. I'd like to think I did a semi decent job with my DE and he's around 75 in str/agi/speed right now.

I'm curious to see what the new changes will bring, speed DEs can be a liability if someone makes an effort to run right at them.
