If I may, I'd like to point out something at HB: Greg Alstott doesn't have a backup HB and has 1990 yards on 460 carries with a 4.3 yards per carry average, 11 Fum with 3 FumL.

Maurice Jones-Drew has a backup HB and they also split carries with the FB:

MJD - 1693 yards on 321 carries, 5.3 Avg and ZERO Fum.
Indiana Pwns - 618 yards on 170 carries
Tank Hutchens - 323 yards on 61 carries

sorry for the newbiness in this lolYou're voting for multiple people in order to trim the list of candidates down from an initial pool to, for lack of a better term, finalists. Just like the Nagurski award goes from ~50 to 10 to 3, or something similar to that.

It's so when the final voting occurs there's not 20 candidates to split the votes for a 3-man race.
