I'm sorry if I am being harsh, but rosters should be set the week before the playoffs. Anybody you add AFTER that will have to wait until the team loses or until the playoffs are over to see a snap.

And thats another reason you shouldn't have XP in playoff games. This really irritates me.

Well, I assume we're not the only team that will be beefing up. And this wasn't pre-meditated either. His contract just happened to expire right before the playoffs We do take a chemistry hit from bringing him in as well.

Nonetheless, Hugh is our undisputed starter for the playoffs.

In future seasons, the contracts ending on Day 40 will solve this problem anyway.

are you farking kidding i didnt realize they just did this..But of course we all have the same WOW factor as silverymoon or have the same connections to get said players since we all were around as long as they were since everyone in this league is an alpha or beta tester.Truth be told I hope they do win and get moved up, gameplanning does only so much as the level of talent you acquire.

right...i hope the elves lose just to shut them up...would love for torrance to be the team that does it, but i am such a charitable guy, i'd be willing to see them lose before we can play them...

For the record, the argument that the Fairies have a distinct advantage because they include mods and testers & the argument that teams shouldn't be able to sign players going into the playoffs are two totally different things. I wasn't defending the Fairies, but responding to a post that teams can add players leading into the playoffs. I don't see a problem with it at all. If you've got issues with players signing in the days leading up to the playoffs, knock yourself out. Otherwise, I think you misinterpreted.

Okay I know they dont have XP for playoff games (some people made a push for it this year, and I was disagreeing with those persons), that was the one decision I was agreeing with, I definitely should have stated that better than I did. But it is bullsh*t....

I'm sorry, but the rosters should be set by now, and they aren't....hell I could add 40 new players to my team right before the playoff games so that we would almost assuredly win, but Im not going to do that, because the game is about having fun, and I dont find that adding players to start over guys who have gotten me to the point I need to be is the right thing to do.

If you want to sign a player, fine, allow him to be signed....DO NOT however allow him to play in the playoffs. You can't add a starter overnight right before players in real life, why should you be able to do it on a game?

I have no problem with Silverymoon. You are a group of owners that will probably be in the Pro League given 3 more seasons. That is fine with me. What I have a problem with, and I think it needs to be corrected is playoff rosters. That is all.

Well adding people before a playoff game is lame, but its not against the rules as of now so it will have to slide. He got 75 yrds and a TD against us as a backup, We did adjust our D to try to limit the running game more so than passing game due to this rediculous addition. I had no other choice or that dude would have run crazy on us. I say it was more of a stat move than anything else.

It is true that the elves are run by people with connections and so forth they also have greater knowlege of the game due to being testers and what not, But if they move up whos to say it will be better? Who are we going to have around to hate?
