I'm 312 on list right now. You think I have a shot at a team? If not I'm going to retire the three guys I made.

Yes for sure, there are over 520 to hand out, I think there is 608 on the waiting list but you have a very good shot at getting a team

Your probably right about that. I'm going to do some serious recruiting, offer above average cash to lure some guys in. Whatever may be left, I'll drop a pretty dime.

You can offer max salary and bonus and still have money left over, in fact every team can so money isnt your friend. Promise them the title!

Not sure how these counts work, but I was just 580 on the list, and I have a team, plus there are teams left over.

Hey Bort , why not just concentrate peewees into 20 leagues tops. Tbo finding new owners is the small problem. Cause most of those new teams will be filled with cpu players anyways. Then the new owners dont renew or sell the team midseason because of lack of players to go around.

Not everybody thats on the waitlist has to get a team. Bring the leagues down to 20 and if you dont get a team u dont get a team.
That just means your going to be 1 of the first next season. This would be great for competition as well.

Yeah, as I stated in my ReOrg or Condense thread, it isn't that tough to get people who want a shot at owning a Pee Wee team, the tough part is finding enough players who want to sign with a new owner or who aren't already commited to another team.

I don't even bother with recruitment. I make half of the players, my co-owner makes half of the players. The mathematics make Pee Wee ownership a challange for the new owners... they pretty much have to stick around for the second season in order to even make playoffs due to slim recruiting pools.

I have previously stated that I'd rather be in a league where every team is filled with active players and owners like you would find in the Pro leagues, but you just can't expect those kinds of numbers when you are talking about 800 teams in Pee Wee and 40,000 players needed to fill them (assuming that you are creating 50 players per team, which is required if you want any dedicated special teams).

800 teams at 400 flex each = not hard to fill.
40,000 players at 100 - 300 flex each = impossible to fill.

The demand isn't there for that many level one players on day 1 (31) of the season. That's why the number of teams sold off is so high. The competition is too powerful from those teams that do a solid job of recruitment every season. But even those teams are getting tired of hammering on CPU players week after week, and I know I won't be back next season if the Pee Wee Leagues don't become tiered, as much as I love Pee Wee ball.

BTW: 522/800 = over 65% of owners did not return for another season.
