Well have not done this since last game of the regular season, but I figured it was a good time to do one more for the league....
Its that time, Its time for the best from the West clash with the best from the East! The Gators have been in the spot light to make it here all year, where as in the West it was pretty split up and came down to a 13 and 3 team that was pre-ranked 5th finally getting that invite! Who will walk away with the USA BBB 1 crown? the under DAWGS or Gators....
Gators This team I was impressed with because of one thing and one thing only.... That damn D, they have been stout all year and had an overall rank of 2nd for that defense all regular season. Their Rush D during the season was their stand out, I mean these guys only let... -35.5 yards on the ground all season! Yeah, I said negative 35.5 oh and only 3 TDs to boot, um your not going to run the ball on these guys so I hope the DAWGS have notice that little stat or it will be a long day for them, but then again the Knights are the only team the Gators have faced this season that is close to the DAWGS in the rushing game.... Now the Gators Pass D was not as dominate as that rush D, really nothing anywhere was as close, but still the Gators were in the top 10 at pass D sitting 7th in the league. To add on to that stat, the Gators were able to produce 70 sacks, that was 2nd in the league and that just may be the X-factor for the Gators. As for their offense, the Gators seem to split their attack run/pass 60/40 never really giving any part of their offense outstanding numbers, but really was an effective scoring machine.
DA DAWGS This team is better than people think... I believe they have their shit together and have a good chance of winning today. I will throw some stats out there just to open your eyes.... Rushing the DAWGS were ranked 2nd in the league, meaning this will be a bit tougher of a rushing attack than the Black Knights believe it or not! Then as for D they were third over all behind the Birds and Gators, their rush D is 5th in the league and their Pass D is 2nd. This stat stands out a bit... they forced 55 fumbles as that was 4th in the league, but that is not the impressing part, this was. Out of those 55 forced, they recovered 52! wow... Then points scored a game, they were a league 2nd behind the Birds at 116.7 a game and then only allowing 11 points scored on them for an average a game which was also a league 2nd behind the Birds... Look I can spit out stats all day on these guys, they are in the top 10 if not the top 5 for everything! this is a very well round team that will give the Gators a fight every which way!
Predictions
look, these are two very good teams that have proven they belong here! The DAWGS are going to have to show up on their pass game, but also be able to protect that QB from that sack producing D of the Gators! The Gators I believe will need to establish that running game early and play protect....This will be an intense game to watch leaving any one guess who will win! I will say my choice as to who will win this game may be a little bias, but that is why I am sure people will comment on it also. GL to both teams for they will both need it! this was a shorter write up than I wanted it to be, but you must understand it fell under time circumstances....

Good game Gators! We gave it all we had, hopefully we end up in the same place! If not, i think a yearly scrimmage would be a nice idea!

I thought we really screwed up when we threw that INT in the endzone at the start of the 4th quarter. We were up 13-9 at that point so that TD would have made the score 20-9 with 15 minutes to play. I like my D in that situation. But that play put you guys right back on the offensive and I really didn't relax again until I saw the way we were able to run the ball on that last drive. I knew then that we would be able to run the clock out. Just FYI.......In real life I would have taken a knee at the end.
Great Game Gators! With the exception of the final TD that came because of the blitz package I had to use under 1:20, I think it was a hell of a game! The real difference maker was that fumble recovery for a touchdown.

I thought we really screwed up when we threw that INT in the endzone at the start of the 4th quarter. We were up 13-9 at that point so that TD would have made the score 20-9 with 15 minutes to play. I like my D in that situation. But that play put you guys right back on the offensive and I really didn't relax again until I saw the way we were able to run the ball on that last drive. I knew then that we would be able to run the clock out. Just FYI.......In real life I would have taken a knee at the end.

In retrospect, had I known our Defense was going to be so effective, I would never have had an input that deviated from the game plan. Sucks to not be able to call the plays as you go!! Might have got the ball back, but, we would have still needed to get a touchdown at 16-12 and your D had been quite effective as well.
Oh well. Lot's of would have could have's but it is what it is.
