Eastern Conference:

Game #1 - New York Mustangs (#1) vs St. Louis Knights (#2) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1773&team2=1591 - The last time these two teams met up, the Knight's were in the midst of some transitions and swore they had not performed as well as they could. They spent most of the season attempting to prove that to one and all. I think, going into this final game of the Eastern Conference, that they will demonstrate that the first game was a fluke, and they will come down hard on the Mustangs. Both teams run similar game plans. Run. It's not a deep playbooks, but it has been effective. I'm calling this next game 42-24 Knights.

Western Conference:

Game #1 - San Dimas Sea Monkeys (#1) vs Savannah Skyhawks (#2) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/compare_teams.pl?team1=1193&team2=678 - Again I will not be predicting a score for this game as I'm too close to it, though i will say I believe San Dimas has the upper hand in this game. It should be interesting to see if the Sea Monkey's can hold the rushing duo fielded by Savannah. I'm giving the edge to San Dimas in this one as they have proven they can stop a strong running game and have an offense that can put up points in many different ways. I'm looking forward to seeing how this game plays out.

Breaking News: The Summit Station Stallions will not be around next year. The owner, Ksig489, has decided not to renew the team for personal reasons. It was a nice season with you guys. As a former GM of the team, i will say that any players on the team are good to be signed, and it would be good if we could keep a few guys together.

Sorry to hear it. Bort hasn't made it easy to be an owner. Good luck to your guys. We're full up on the roster and I think I actually need to find one person to cut which I am not happy about.

Round 3 - Results

Eastern Conference:

Game #1 - New York Mustangs (#1) vs St. Louis Knights (#2) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=585767 - Prediction 42-24 Knights, Actual 41-30 Mustangs. The Mustangs won the battle in the east, proving that their run defense was stronger than the St. Louis rushing offense. New York had to overcome a lost fumble, but held on. Strangely enough while the East had been focused on Rushing all season, both teams scored most of their points in the air for this game.

Western Conference:

Game #1 - San Dimas Sea Monkeys (#1) vs Savannah Skyhawks (#2) - http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=585766 - No Prediction, Actual 52-21. Corm Neeson displayed why he was the Western Conference Offensive MVP. He's just too much for many teams to handle. Luckily for the Sea monkeys they were able to score 21 offensive points on touchdowns as well as Scotty TooHottie found ways to get himself open for Chuck Starr. Add to this a field goal and 28 points from Murphy McManus the Western Conference ST's MVP and the Sea Monkeys were able to come out on top.

Great games from everyone involved. Should be an awesome finals.
