I do wonder what the difference between shed block and break block is and what stats affect them. I also wonder about % modifiers. Do they activate on each tic or each play? For example, does my NT have a 18% chance on each tic to try and break the block or does he only get one shot at it per play? If it's the former, I can easily see the benefit of keeping my current piece (which I'll probably do), however if it's the latter it's a much harder decision. Thanks for the opinions guys.

they should both activate (or not activate) on every tick, as long as he's engaged.

I see. Now it comes down to speculation. What % of the time does a D-lineman "shed block" with 1 or 10 in the SA? Then compare that to my +18% break block percentage. However I'm guessing nobody outside of Bort knows that.

shed blocks is just a +% bonus, same as break blocks. shed is probably a bigger bonus on passing plays and a lesser or similar bonus on run plays. It may also provide a secondary bonus, like moving the blocker or getting past him (agility bonus), or it may not.
