For agility? Very much yes.

True, yeah I just made the poor guy, he's either going to suck or be awesome, because his speed won't be that great.

Agility -> 5th cap + EQ
Vision -> 3rd cap
Speed -> 3rd cap
Carrying -> 2nd cap

I'll start off with that, more then likely

Really think that much vision is needed. I think he would work better if you 4th capped speed, 3rd capped carry and single capped vision. (Just me though, i dont like vision for Rbs)

Food for thought, hmmm...
I agree vision seems to be a defensive stat, i haven't seen it help the offense as much...
I was thinking of super elusive running is all...

I think vision would be critical. Otherwise he'd just be juking laterally rather than picking a path and going.
Don't underestimate the vision/confidence combo as it relates to decision making.

I don't agree, and coming from someone with no experience building HB's I wouldn't take it for truth.

I just created a HB today. I plan to make him an agility based scat back, with high SA's.
Plan:
Training: Speed & Agility
Agility===> 1st Cap.
---------------------------------
Training: Speed & Agility
Agility===> 2nd Cap.
---------------------------------
Training: Agility & Vision
Vision===> 1st Cap.
---------------------------------
Training: Agility & Vision
Agility===> 3rd Cap.
---------------------------------
Training: Agility & Vision
Vision===> 2nd Cap.
---------------------------------
Training: Speed & Agility
Speed===> 1st Cap.
---------------------------------
Training: Catching & Carrying
Carrying===> 1st Cap.
---------------------------------
Training: Agility & Vision
Agility===> 4th Cap.
===================
So once I finish with that, his build will look something like this:
Speed: 49
Agility: 74
Vision: 60
Carrying: 49
Catching: 25
I hope to fit some SA's like Juke, Head Fake, and Spin.

Yep...looks good on paper but the results are pretty disappointing.

You might make it work with some different combination, but I have tried 85-100 agility with varying supporting attributes and never had much luck.

What about a HB with a 6:5 Agility to Speed ratio, as well as a 4:3 Speed to Carrying Ratio. So if the HB had 90 Agility, he would also have 75 Speed and 56 Carrying. A guy on my TE's team (http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1288151&playoffs=0) is an agility back, and he has been very successful. I'm not sure if his build is open or closed, so I won't say anything else in case its closed, but he's been great for us, averaging more than a first down every time he touches the ball. I know that we play in a lopsided league where we can win by 90 and then lose by 90 the next game, but that's still very impressive.

The situation is much different at high levels where the defense has adequate vision and tackling...high agility (or high anything really) can work fine at lower levels, but at high levels of play agility backs really suffer

Oh well. I'll probably convert him to a high speed vision carrying back then.

Now that I think about it, maybe a high jumping carrying vision back would be cool. Like seeing the hole, breaking some tackles, and jumping for a few extra yards, along with some speed and agility.

What's really cool is a speed>agility>carrying>strength back. lol
