XP in the playoffs, any change to players not getting any? IMO, if you're good enough to make the playoffs and are at risk to getting injured we should be compensated with XP points and be allowed to level up.

It's still not 100% decided. I'm thinking that there won't be. Plus, injuries aren't in effect yet

yeah i will be really upset if they put XP into the playoffs the same way it was in the reg season

if they are going to add non-reg season xp ever, i really prefer the idea of a relatively small amount of XP for everybody on the roster, probably also scaled for level of player similar to what we already have - but just fewer xp points overall so players dont age faster

that way i dont have to worry about lower leveled players bitching about getting only special teams plays in the playoffs

I actually believe they should have the XP in the playoffs similar to the regular season. In college, the biggest advantage of having a bowl game is that teams get an extra 3 weeks to a month to practice and allow their teams to get better. This isn't "aging" your player faster as your player will still only play the 10 years or so.

Just a little notice for you guys. Right now Bort and DD are working on changing the amount of chemistry that gets increased (favors moves during the offseason the beginning of the season) and putting certain restrictions on trading/cutting players.

Does it really favor making moves or just making moves early as opposed to late? I'm guessing the latter.

In college, players are only there for a max of four years, though. It seems to me that if you made the playoffs and got more XP, you'd have a much bigger advantage over everybody who didn't make the playoffs/didn't get as far. Wouldn't that create kind of a snowball effect where there are a few elite teams who always make the playoffs and the rest of the teams never make the playoffs?

how about not ending contracts during late season/playoffs to prevent ringers being added?

Yeah, that was a big issue brought up in the mod forum. That's why one of the changes to the contracts was:

Obviously that won't prevent all of that stuff because of year-long contracts, but it at least closes the loophole that was created with the short-term contracts.
