I think he looks good, he's just a baby, he'll fill out nicely

It's just his performance was dominant for a DT last year. I don't understand the dropoff with higher levels and easier opponents.

Oh well. Hope you're right but he'll only be seeing 3 or so level-ups per season from now on.

cruise control can also hurt a lot of players overall statistical performances.

Doing just fine, but I don't have as much agility as I used last season.

I am pretty happy with my level 49 DT in a pro league despite being 6-8 levels lower than the LG's he is facing.

My strength DT is outperforming my agility DT...though it seems to depend on the game by game matchup.

I totally disagree. My DT is having a pretty good year, yes he has racked up some stats against blown up teams but I'm happy. I've said this before and I'll say it again - at this point in the game, your guy could easily have 30+ sacks as a DT if the D-coordinator was using the custom play creator. The DC needs to put guys in a position to make plays and a lot of them AREN'T doing that. Its not your builds fault, its the fault of your Coordinators. Sorry to point a finger but its true.

I agree that there are a lot of bad DC's out there. Maz is right though on his advice, he is the godfather of DT building IMO.

You have three sacks in non-blowout wins. DCs help, but build trumps all.

At what point did I say I had a ton of sacks? Does anyone read these posts? Jesus, people are just out to bash and not look at the point of the statement. Builds are good, but game planning turns good builds into dominant teams.

Well everyone on my team knows how to build so a blind monkey could probably run our defense. It's really about builds more than you're letting on.

You can be a great DC all day long, but the builds have to be able to do what you want them to, first and foremost.

well, thats no different than real football, the better the player, the better opportunity for results. But the primary DC's job is to find the best matchups for your defense. If you have a great pass rushing DT and you shift a 4-3 defense to the left on 3rd and long, your great pass rusher has been neutralized now that he will be double teamed by the center and LG. Granted, may benefit the LDE, but if he isnt a strength all you have done is eliminated the one Dlineman that can get to the QB. A DC's play calling makes a bigger difference than many may know.
