No offense, but I don't understand why people get upset about Pro Bowl ballots. Putting together a ballot is a lot of work, and you inevitably overlook people. Now, if Joe said Sarge doesn't deserve to be on the ballot for reasons X, Y, Z, then you can get upset. But I think the whole thing would be a lot smoother if people just assumed any errors were an oversight and not ill-intended.

I'm not upset, I thought this was a discussion. I mean, the OP DID ask for thoughts and opinions and this is mine.

My opinion is that the current all-star ballot leader among TEs deserves to be on the ballot.

And I also don't believe it's ill-intended and that it is an over-sight. That's why I brought it up.

My post was meant as an honest discussion, not a flame. Sorry you took it as one.

Agreed. I had to choose other :/

interesting. I disagree with voting as many times as you want tho. Some positions nominations need some review tho, for example:

OTs - Seriously need more options imo. Give pass blocker some more love too.

I disagree. Any candidate written in stands virtually no chance simply because most people would rather click a dot than type in text. At the very least, all starters for all teams should be represented on the ballot. Furthermore, if all of the relevant stats are presented to the voters on the ballot, it will garner more participation than if they actually have to go look up the stats.

I can add any remaining starters to the list. Not a big deal. This one is a test, so I can change voting methods too. The real one won't go live until Day 32.

Sounds good. Wasn't trying to slam what you're doing as I think it's a great idea and not everyone is willing to do this much work.

I just wanted Sarge, who is the current TE leader, to have an honest shot at things.

If you're wondering why Dinosaur X is on there, his 77 pancakes is either tops or one of the best among West TEs.

I'll go through and add some more OL and fix some of the errors that were pointed out in this thread.

Was not aware of that, so we have one of the leading blocking AND leading receiving TEs?

It appears that way.

24th in the West.

I'm going through all 15 teams human-owned teams and adding all the starters. I might need some help on return specialists though.

We've already got a Pro Bowl Team, courtesy of Bort. All positions are ranked by conference.

Here are the Number 1's by position:
QB - Tom Koziol - CHI
HB - The Tick - TEX
FB - Cletus Jackson - NY-
TE - Sarge Ol'Army - TEX
WR - Quick Six - PAR,
WR2 - Justin Moore - MON
OC - Tommy Whitman - WAS
OG - Danny Hughes - WAS
OG2 - Pepper Lewis - MON
OT - Malcolm McPancake - TEX
OT2 - Tom Jackson - WAS

DT - Merlin Olsen - MON
DT2 - Crash Davis - MON
DE - Angus Howlett - TEX
DE2 - Mr. Sack - MIN
LB - Fred Smith - CHI
LB2 - Castor Pollux - WAS
LB3 - Pogue Mahone Jr. - LAS
CB - Lehigh Jones - LIN
CB2 - Lomas Walker - CHI
SS - Alexander Von Stein - COM
FS - Brendan Engle - COM

K - Gary Sambling - COM
P - Plugget Adewan - NY-
RS - Hammer Mcgurkin - SAN

My understanding is that only stats against playoff teams count, so that's why there are players in here with lesser numbers. Who cares what they did against SPI?

True enough. List doesn't look bad either.

No doubt. It took a long time to find a couple of those guys because their numbers aren't good enough to appear on the "League Leaders" pages.

BTW, South Bay is putting together an All-Star team, so all the guys above are now invited to join us.
