I can definitely see your point Mob-6, but I decided to do a few AE rolls because it's my first character and I was curious to see how it goes.

A funny thing happened though, my guy just hit level 32 so I did 3 rolls with the 6 training points I had, and coincidentally a piece that has 5% fake chance came up. I'm trying to resist the temptation to equip both pieces and do a stupid double fake chance build, but I made a quick spreadsheet anyway a copy/pasted the results here, it shows what the fake chance for each piece would be at each level:

Level Cost per piece Total Cost Effect +3% +5% Total Fake Chance
1 $500 $2,000 1 3 5 8
8 $2,500 $10,000 2 6 10 16
16 $12,500 $50,000 3 9 15 24
24 $50,000 $200,000 4 12 20 32
32 $200,000 $800,000 5 15 25 40
40 $400,000 $1,600,000 6 18 30 48
48 $600,000 $2,400,000 7 21 35 56
56 $800,000 $3,200,000 8 24 40 64

So I could put +40% fake chance on him right now if I wanted, and it would be +64% by level 56. I doubt it would even be good, but maybe I'll do it as a science experiment since I had the weird luck to roll those pieces.

This table is totally wrong, ignore it.

These 2 plays would beg to differ both WRs have +1 stam +5% fake chance base AEQs.

Bahahaha, I'm even more temped now. Do you know what level their Head Fake and Juke is?

Now I'm debating VAs... Awe Inspiring and Clever Instinct only work part of the time, sadly. Return man would obviously be huge with fake chance AEs on special teams.

one has 4 head fake 2 juke
the other has 1 head fake 1 juke

head fake has been amazing if you have speed to run by when they freeze

This WR has no SAs, no AEQ, 70 speed, 70 agility.
Did exactly what's done in your plays.

Yep the difference is if the defensive player's dot flashes, it looks like they are getting pancaked but it's from a fake.

I can see that, I'm talking about the effect.
In either case, the WR is going down field with the ball, a defender is in front of him (obviously near enough to secure a tackle) but via agility/SA the WR moves right around the defender within close proximity then flies right by.
Same shit, no flash.
Except my WR never had to train on normal and he'll get better automatic leveling gains later. SAs/AEQ aren't required for WR.

This will be one of the guys when lvl 40 asks what to do with his player and everyone agrees retire him.

Theres a difference between a lvl 20 beating a lvl 20 and a lvl 27 beating a lvl 36 in more ways than one.

ROFL.
Okay buddy.
Nobody will ever tell someone with a focus entirely on primary attributes and zero SP/training inefficiency to retire.

and FYI, both the CB and FS you beat have horrible bars for their level; just by looking at them I can tell their vision/agility is crap.
My own SS and CB have better pass defense bars than the CB and only 3 lower than the FS despite being 13 and 16 levels lower respectively. Beating bad builds is cool.

This one went over my head as well. A level 40 with no SAs theoretically should have a better base build to start adding SAs then a level 40 who has already started investing in SAs. The only people asking him to retire are the opposing CBs.

Back to the earlier discussion on AEQ. I agree with DW, it is very tough for a WR to find AEQ that is worthwhile. Every situation is unique so it is hard to make a blanket statement such as AEQ is good or bad. From my experience I have only gotten garbage. Another variable to consider is long term gains from bonus token turn ins for SP from natural level ups, if you can cap something using accrued token turn ins, when will the long term natural level up gains from going up a cap level give you more return than the AEQ would.

One of my WRs has a +3 speed + 1 HF, the other a +3 agility + 3% fake chance.

Here is the one with the + fake chance...it looks like it works to me...http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=506862&pbp_id=8980522
(he's got 4 in HF BTW)

Right now my guys has the following AEQ maxed out:
+4 Speed +3QC

He rolled the following two pieces (same slot) and I'm not sure which to keep:

+1RR
+2 Speed +3% Fake Chance

I'm inclined to keep the second but wanted to get the community's input.

Thank you in Advance.

Buy the second one and just hold onto it. It probably only costs 50k. You might want to use it at a later time if you find a different QC piece for another slot. When you find a good piece you buy it unless what you have in that slot is completely unreplaceable. A +1 SA piece is replaceable, but +QC is very nice.
