One of the things I'm particularly proud of is that the team my guys play for, the Gotham Crusaders, started out in the week 2 Power Rankings #27. We have steadily improved each week and currently rank #4.

I don't know what we'll do in the playoffs... but I feel pretty happy as of week 14!

I'm a bit confused. How did the Feebs go from 6th to 12th defensively after giving up a whopping 13.5 yards total offense last game?

Not that it matters much, just makes me curious as to what goes into the formula. Do picks given up for touchdowns count against the defense?

Good question.

The team I help GM, the SkyRockets, hasn't made much ground this season. We're hoping to fare better next season. I'm still kind of glad we opted to go into this super-competitive league though. It's probably better here than to dominate a different BBB league, though I'm not sure, since our stadium still has a way to go.

Dude, I hear you on the damn stadium bit! and I am sure you will do pretty damn good next season, just depends who stays... B.C. Assassins and College town may stay and they will give you a run for your money... there are a few other teams... but I don't want to look them up right meow!

How does the promotion thing work? Is it based on W/L record or overall end of season ranking, for example, if a team like the Gators gets bounced out of the playoffs in the first round....promoted or not?

Not.
If they do promotion like they have been doing it in the passed. The two teams that make it to the eastern conference and western conference championship game will be promoted. Even one else will stay back. So its a chance the Knights and Gators maybe back next season if we get bounced early in the playoffs.

We came in 3rd in our conference had an early exit fro the playoffs and got promoted 2 seasons ago... had a brutal season then got demoted to BBB#8 and just before the season started were moved to here... so i don't quite get the formula. Our owner contacted the league explaining we were in a rebuilding phase and we needed one more season to get it together but were still promoted only to get our asses handed to us LOL

I think a lot of it depends on the number of teams moving down also. It there are 6 gutted teams in the league above us than they will move them down and move up teams that are more competitive.

Two seasons ago i was in a league that had 5 teams from our conference promoted.

That's the most I've heard of.

I just took a quick look at A1 and didn't see any CPU teams or threads about teams going CPU after the season. Looks like only two teams will move up, unless there are some teams that ask to be relegated. At least BBB1 will be a great league again next season.
