btw....isn't there supposed to be a repeat play penalty this year? The Marauders must have run the I slam and inside weak runs at least 10 times each. Or it just you can't run it 2X in a row so if you alternate a couple of plays there's no penalty?

Nobody knows. Bort's staying mum on that. It doesn't seem to be that much of a penalty, from what I can tell.

yeah, very crappy sim this season IMO. The VA's...the phantom repeat play penalties..the CB jumping...the AI not firing correctly, GLB is really really bad right now IMO.

That man do not move thing totally screwed me up, like the Buddhist weren't struggling enough this season, like 70% of our defensive plays today were wrong cuz I didn't alter all of my D's. I've been here since day 10 season 1...I've owned a championship squad, OC/DC a US Pro Squad, had players win personal trophies in US Pro. I can hands down say that this is the worst sim I've ever seen..and it's not because my teams aren't doing great.

I smell the beginning of the end for GLB...I see a major contraction within the next couple of seasons. This game is WAAAAY to time consuming for DC/OC/OWNERS to have to put up with such a wiggy product.

IMO the sim is no better to watch today then it was in season 2-3...but the time involved in coordinating has increased 50 fold. This game is a serious time and well as wallet suck and I just don't think, after an entire year of tweaking, the product justifies it. It's actually getting worse...

I know, after this season, I'm pulling back severely in terms of time and money spent here, you just don't get what you pay for IMO.

Mountain Men are ferocious...that is a very good team.

GLB is expanding with new teams added every offseason. I am unsure why people have a bad game and they throw hissy fits on the forum, call Bort a bunch of names, and say his product is getting worse. it's simply not true. Even when I am frustrated as hell at the game, I know that not a single one of us matters in the grand scheme because there are thousands more waiting to get into the game who don't even know about it yet. I find sometimes I can't get people to sign up as referrals because they can't view the website without signing up and they dont' know what it is (they're also scared shitless when you tell them it's pay-to-play). So it's just funny reading you gripe.

The only problem I have with the game is how much time it takes. The D-creator has only compounded the time issues.

Instead of a play creator, all we need are some drop down boxes inside the Defense AI that allows you to assign coverage assignments....because that is the ONLY thing I've used the D-creator for. I could accomplish the same exact tasks in a much easier fashion.. but I really don't expect it to change.

You give these fools a new toy (the DPC) and they are going to obsess over it, and that's just how it is. The one failure I see with Bort is that he is completely clueless and doesn't know how to run a business. He's just a code guy posing as an entrepreneur, so it's questionable to me if GLB will ever do anything more than what it currently is until Bort sells. But he can't sell until he improves the site, so it becomes a chicken or the egg situation.

umm what about the teams that have done perfectly fine since season 1? I mean it isn't just by chance. I think the problem really is straight line thinking. yeah the sim is buggy but I look at this like Madden. Every year there is some bug or exploit that makes playing online almost unbearable.... but you buy it again next season... and then you wait for the next bug in the game......
