Still like the idea of putting seperate pages for the positions, everyone posting one or two players from their team if you believe they deserve consideration, then voting. It's clutter free and easy.

Doesn't alot of tackles at CB mean you kinda suck and a) get beat alot and b) get thrown at alot?

Yes and no. In our case, and in Foxworthy's case, our defense has been dominating. The opposing team is behind most of the time thus they pass a lot. As a team we give up like 40 yards rushing a game and just over 140 passing yards a game. Good teams will get a lot of passes thrown at because the other team is playing catch up. Bad teams will get run on.

Tackle is sort of deceiving for CBs, and other positions as well, so it shouldn't be used as a factor by itself. But as for Booger, I can attest that half of his tackles comes from pitch plays. Can't argue with the number of PDs and INTs though.

You dont have to worry about a bunch of nomination from our team. But I think we have 3 players that deserve Pro Bowl Consideration! As they have been great players on our team that in game film really pop off, and while they dont have some of the numbers others have they are Pro Bowler to us.

I'd like to contribute, but I see potential for mass confusion here... have we decided

a) How many nominations each team makes, and how they officially nominate someone?
b) How we are voting?

I would say every team nominates ONE person from offense, defense, and special teams.

Ok, I'll take the lead here. I will be making several posts, each one titled "Pro Bowl -- QB Nominations" and so on. Each one will have a seperate position. For each thread, you can nominate as many people from your team as you believe need consideration. One first team includes 2 WR, 2 CB and one at every other position.

We continue updating each nomination with new stats as the season expires. Once the regular season has ended, the voting will be begin. Stats will include the post season. Voting begins after the regular season, and ends before the championship game, and I will post the results in a new thread. Personally, I don't care how the voting takes place, my thought would be send in the votes to me and I will tally them, though someone else can take this responsibility. Nonetheless, we have a bit to worry about the voting. I will start posting the threads immediately so you can place your nominations there.

I have added the threads, please note that we will be choosing seperate ROT, LOT and so on, I just didnt want to take up the space to post every single individual position. So, post your NT and DT nominations in the DT. Same with CB, G, OT, DE and so on.

Can I suggest that when the voting takes place we create both 1st team Pro Bowl and 2nd team?

Since one of our objectives here is to "share the love" with our teams, it'd be nice to have more people get recognized.

If we have enough votes sure! But you know the score, there are only a handful of teams here that really participate, we'll be lucky if we fill the first team lol.

Include Player links with your nominations, I won't go re-edit all of my posts lol, but I have made that adjustment on my nominations so far.

I made 3 nominations. My whole team is solid and has done a wonderful job this season, but I only nominated people who I felt had a real shot of making the cut. So, if you want to nominate your whole team, go for it, but your probabally spinning your wheels.

The Toronto Turtles will be participating, but I am having my players vote on the selections. I will be sure to add them before the end of the season.
