Ya...big heart actually wasn't as bad once i figured it out...but now looks pretty useless...it cut off after getting down by more than 14. So now only useful when losing by 14 to start out and shuts off within one td...meh...

On another note...the sure tackler escapade is finally over...i brought that up back in the preseason and everyone told me that Sure Tackler had nothing to do with fumbles...awesome. >_>

It is still 14 or more points so it still works if you are down by 17 or w.e.
But its a lot more fair because now you can't take the lead because of big heart since you have to be losing by 8 or more points.

Haha better late than never. Makes sense that you only get a re-roll to tackle and not a re-roll to force a fumble.

Watch the film on guys with big heart....its not working beyond 14. Which I think is how it should be...it doesnt make sense that a team getting slaughtered is playing at a higher level.

Really? If that is the case its a pretty major error on Bort's part.

Agreed. I never liked the VA to begin with because like you said if you are getting smoked why should you start playing better? especially that much better.
If anything there should be a VA called Put them away or Stomp them while their down where the winning teams gets some kind of boost for being up 14.

In the end, I just wish the difference was greater than 14. With how many FFums 14 points is nothing nowadays. Boost it to 21 or more points and shuts off when score is within 14 or minimum 10.

i dont think playing better when down is silly... that's the whole point of the VA. look at the chicago bear's game against the cardinals back in 06. that is some motherfucking big heart.

there wasnt a dry eye at the bar when that game ended.

I don't have a problem with the VA's idea/concept.
I just think that being down by 14 isn't a huge deal especially if it is the 1st half.
Is it fair that a team who scored on their first drive... then forced a 3 and out, scored again is now indirectly giving the opposing team a huge boost?

I couple modifications to Big Heart would still make it useful but make it more realistic as well.
A) Make it 21 points but can activate at any time
B) Make it 14 points but only active in the 4th quarter.
C) A mix between the two.

Now I am really feeling Big Heart = clutch.

Most impressive comback of all time. Right up there with Frank Reich coming off the bench to lead the Bills back from 32 down against the Oilers, in the playoffs and won the game.

None of those guys became superman tho Rusty....better idea for big heart.

5% boost to Stamina and Confidence for each level of Big Heart when trailing by 14 or more.

That would result in players staying at a high level, to which they have built their player when down in a game.

What's the criteria for notable games? Bats just destroyed an undefeated Africa AAA team. http://goallineblitz.com/game/game.pl?game_id=564731

it looks like wins vs solid pro teams or I would assume canada/usa AAA would count too

Eh, notable or not, it was fun kickin' the shit out of them because they talked a whole bunch of shit in the thread PRJ made a little while back about the crazy fumbling issue.
