It's all based on the pathing and placement of your guys. Perhaps your DC's should consider MOVING your guy and using some custom plays to get him into the proper position to go OUTSIDE (in the case of WSLB) for a sack. Also plenty of QB's get the ball off in time in NFL just before getting hit. It's not unrealistic. Perhaps you should ask your coverage guys to do a better job.

In the case of Ruff Rankings... sure he didn't get the sacks but he sure as hell disrupted those plays.

My sacks are down a bit, but I'm still leading the league. It's all about having a defensive coordinator who knows what he's doing.

MLB's can still sack the QB, ROLB has it rough.

Blame the guy who broke ROLB. He had a super fast ROLB and would shift weak side and blitz him every play. His name was like sacker backer or something. he had like 100 sacks in the pro's at one point. ridiculous.

I do believe I have sack envy...

And it sucks that that one fool indeed broke ROLBs. I'd kill for another 10 sack season, which isn't going to happen ever again for me, quite frankly.

Well it can still be somewhat done. Just not 100 sacks.

If you shift everything weak side on pass plays(even the linemen) and line your ROLB behind and to the weak side off a little bit. You'd have to have a fuckton of speed still.

I definitely do not suggest switching to weak side on running plays be careful.

my ROLB has 9 sacks on the season. some were against gutted teams but he still managed a bunch off of the quality teams we played.

I'm sick of my ROLB getting pancaked at the line. Last year he had 11 sacks. This year, he has none. He's been pancaked I'm guessing 40 times this season. I don't remember any last season ...

I'm thinking I want to re-allocate my equipment to boost his SPD and AGL. Coupled with "Quick" or "Jump the Snap" VAs, I'm hoping that will be enough to get him past the OL fast enough sometimes to cause havoc in the backfield.

Comments or counter-suggestions please.
