The Good safeties I see don't have very high tackling or vision. between 48-55 in both. Any more it's a waste.

I highly disagree

You can disagree all you want. Doesn't change the fact it's true.

Actually, it isnt.

uh actually you're right. I must get my vision and tackling past 55 and 49 respectfully. A.S.A.P. it's like omfg you opened my eyes. oh god what have I done his whole career with no vision or tackling.

In general, your opinions are pretty much wrong about everything.

Yeah My guys don't ever lead the league in anything. I'm sorry I can't believe how wrong everything I say is. *frowny face*
your F.S. is amazing with that 4920 global rank. Come back and make an intelligent retort when you build a strong safety.

Can't compare apples and peaches. You still blitz your SS a lot - so he's likely to get better stats than a guy staying in coverage (and playing good coverage). The QB is supposed to throw to the "most open" receiver after all.

And b.t.w.: my FS is #1 in conference - with a "Global D-Rank" of 8388... don't you wonder where you would stand without that 20 TKL, 7 FFum 223-0 blowout? So please be fair.

To be fair. I really don't think you read my post.

Hey look, I got an INT and now I am 3000 spots higher. Thank God that one play totally defined whether or not my FS was good, as opposed to the seasons and seasons of production he's had previously.

UnderDogs is right.

High vision safeties are a waste.

Underdogs may be opinionated but he usually backs up his opinions with pretty hard facts. You can disagree with him all you want, he is one of the more successful SS builders.

Underdog's SS is successful... but it comes at a pretty huge cost imo. The system UD plays in helps him pick up some of the great stats he accumulates while also opening up the defense to the big play (which seems to be the bane of their defense most of the time), and the low vision only compounds that fact. So while I do think that his SS is a game changer in a lot of ways, not all of them are necessarily in good ways. He's basically Roy Williams irl.

If his safety is Roy Williams, none of the ways in which he changes the game for his team are positive.

I'm convinced that Underdogs knows all the secrets to the game but posts on the forums to steer people in the wrong direction in order to ensure GLB-wide domination.

Actually, scratch that. . .

My SS has done decent with only double capped vision. More would probably take away from other areas.

I've got my speed above the 74 cap. Sure he's fast, but not sure the last 5-10 made that big a difference. Espeically seeing as I've got points in there from equipement. Probably would have been better of putting the points elsewhere to maximize on value

My CB does fine with vision at 60. I cant imagine a SS would need more vision than a CB.

I am here to say that UnderDogs is wrong, and I know more about SS builds than him because my SS has a global D rank of 664 whereas his is only 833.
